Food was really good and portions are great for the price. I got the chicken bowl and could only finish half and the other half was basically a whole meal. Friends got a bulgogi bowl and could only finish half too. Appetizers were delicious. Servers were really great too. Went with a group of 5 and they gave us dumplings on the house. Only thing is it's more of a fast food joint than a restaurant. We didn't get any water with our order and I assume we would have had to pay for it. Otherwise, highly recommend.
First time! It was really tasty fired chicken! The restaurant was spacious, well-decorated, and clean. Had #2 Yang-Nyeom Chicken, and the order was quickly made within 15 mins. The chicken was crunchy, juicy, and delicious! Love the rice bed! Chewy, mixed brown and red rice! Highly recommended! Definitely will come back!
Just wow.. Hidden gem of a place. The place is really small with few seats and the ambience is good. The food was the highlight as the Korean fried chicken was really good and flavourful. We ordered a Yang-nyeom chicken bowl and a deep fried mandu. The fried chicken in the chicken bowl was really good. It had a subtle sweet flavour alongside the light spiciness. The quantity of the bowl was also really good. The mandu was also really tasty and crispy. The pricing is also very nominal. The service person also took the time to explain the ingredients of the food we ordered as we had few questions. Definitely must visit place. Will be definitely visiting again to try other varieties..
Here we are in the middle of another Covid wave Omicron and restaurant in dining is now restricted until 26Jan. It's the NFL playoffs, what perfect timing to get some Korean fried chicken to eat in the comfort of your own home. Been driving by the Chibap location for the past few months, since I only live approx .7 km away, why not support your local Korean fried chicken businesses, KFC & Popeyes can't have all the fun. Ok, half chicken portion is more than enough to satisfy 2 fanatic NFL fans. These glorified chicken nuggets has a slight spicy flavor although I would have preferred more spice. The chicken to breading ratio is about 50/50. Some nuggets are small, some nuggets are big, no size uniformity. The flavor is all in the breading, is it my imagination but the chicken flavor from fast food chicken "chain" places is a rarity nowadays unless your eating fresh chopped chicken in a Chinese restaurant. But I digress, fast food has a place on our planet, maybe not the healthiest but it's my body, my Korean chicken
A good Korean fried chicken place linked with Hoki Poke. Cash 10% discount The Po+Chi Box gives you a variety of both. This one took quite a bit of time to make though. Judging by the temperature, they were waiting for the saucier chicken and gyoza to be fried. The original chicken came a bit cold. But overall it was good and beautifully displayed. There is also a point system with this place by entering your phone number on the tablet. Service was great. Although after we waited a bit of time to get my meal, there was only 15 mins left for me to dine in. As they were preparing to close I didn't feel like I should stay any longer. They were quite busy with take out orders though. Lovely and clean interior and washrooms.
Ordered delivery - honey garlic flavour and it was surprisingly still very warm and crispy upon arrival. I am not typically one for boneless chicken, but the flavour had a good balance, not overly sweet and evenly distributed. The radish was fresh and not too "pickled"/vinegary. Dumplings are average. I find it on the pricier side, though I would probably order the chicken again.
The chicken was super crispy and flavourful. I found the galbi chicken super interesting as it tasted exactly like how it was advertised. The volcano chicken bowl was super spicy but we still enjoyed it. The chicken bowl consist of some lettuce and mayo on a bed of purple rice. I would not get the croquettes again. Although it was crispy, I found it too be too oily and lacked flavour. However, I would recommend coming here for the chibap chicken bowl!

In conjunction with the purple rice in the bowl and mayo, lettuce, it was so delicious! Note that the chicken used in the bowl is not the same as the chicken for the korean fried chicken there were some cartilage pieces whereas the fried chicken doesn't have any $16.95 // This chicken was extremely crispy and flavourful on its own. The onions that come separately had a very sharp vinegar taste so we enjoyed just dipping the chicken in the sauce rather than pouring the onions on the chicken.
Got the original boneless chicken to really see how the chicken was. The chicken was very crispy, moist, fresh, and hot; however I found it to be to crispy for my liking and some of the pieces didn't have chicken in them, just breading. It also wasn't very flavorful, and there was to much breading, the honey garlic sauce was also lack luster. The portion size was good though and the price was decent. The overall atmosphere was also nice, and so were the staff; additionally the restaurant was clean and the wait time was average.
Been meaning to try Chibap for the longest time and a BOGO deal on Ubereats was the last thing I need to convince me. I got the HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN BOWL! Between the honey garlic chicken, mayo, and teriyaki sauce, there was so much flavor packed into this bowl! Personally, it got just a tad to sweet nearing the end, but this was my only 'complaint'. Ordering this via delivery, my main concern was whether or not my chicken would remain crispy but not to fret, because there was still a nice crunch! Also loved the crunch from the lettuce in the bowl, which also helped to keep the dish light. Lastly, I love that they use purple rice as the base due to its chewy texture. There was chicken for every bite of rice, which was very impressive, and I was left VERY satisfied. All in all, very impressed with the combination of textures and flavors, as well as the portions. Update: If you haven't snatched up your PO-CHI BOX, a surf and turf collaboration by Hoki Poki x Chibap, this is your sign to! Exclusively on Ubereats and available till Jan 30th. This specially curated box was as advertised minus the pickled radish and sauce on the gyoza. The gyoza was indeed very crispy but definitely could've used a little drizzle of sauce to make it a little more flavorful. Both varieties of Korean fried chicken were unbelievably crispy despite the travel time, which thoroughly impressed me. I personally preferred the original, plain chicken as I prefer savoury over sweet, but the other variety was nicely coated without being soggy and had a pleasantly sweet and flavorful taste. Though the poke portion is also preset and changes are not allowed, the combination was fitting to my taste, consisting of salmon as per my choice for a 50 cent upcharge, edamame, cucumber, spring mix, purple cabbage, purple rice, nori, and crispy bits. Side note, they say not to include a note as no changes can be made but I did request for spicy mayo and they fulfilled my request! Don't underestimate the portions, I was quite full!
