Yummy Korean Fried chicken! I tried the Korean sauce and the Snow rub on my combo #2 and it was amazing! My sauces dripped down to the fries so in the end I had Korean Snow fries which was like a bonus. I love that they come naked for you to dress as saucy as you want. Really enjoyed them and definitely had the itis afterwards. Want to return to try the popcorn chicken.
Solid portion size and delicious sauces! My popcorn chicken order had so much chicken that I had to get a to-go box! The kimchi fries were also a great size and just packed with flavor. I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could because the food was tasty but I'm disappointed that they didn't have any beer, ya know, the "Mac" to the "Chi."
Finally, Wings made right. And cool sauce options. My new favorite wing spot in town. Not the best I've ever had but still darn good. The wings have a decent breading and are still crispy without being over breaded. Also not over cooked or undercooked. The inside is cool and updated. I like that there are different levels and I was sitting in the upper area. Very clean for a chicken joint. We really enjoyed the food and overall experience. The workers were so nice. We ordered their lunch specials. Wings please. Yes we got em. We got the combo that comes with 2 sauces each. I like their choices. Can't wait to come back for more wings. Maybe I'll try something else on the menu. Oh yea the exterior is actually cool also. But the parking, meh, this area your lucky to find close parking at darn near any day of time or week.
A little pricey, but lots of good flavors and fresh wings. We got a batch of 20 Korean sauce wings and 10 soy chicken wings. It was enough for a snack for 6 people. The Korean wing sauce was not too spicy if you enjoy spice. Wings came hot and with a little eating plate and finger gloves.
Food smelled great. Cashier was wonderful. Gave it 4 stars because service was bit slower than I thought considering the place was empty but for me and one other person. Still recommend it. Just go with the knowledge that of you have a hard time waiting it'll be a bit of a wait. I ordered a bit after 11:30 on a Sunday and got my order at 11:50 or so. But other than this, please try their chicken
I have to say I went in with super high expectations. I’ve seen so many YouTube videos lately raving about Chi Mac. I would have loved to have the option of a sampler platter with two of each, to see what I like. There were two of us, and we bought the small Soy ginger, Thai jam, and Korean chicken with a side of cheese corn. The cheese corn was good, but definitely over priced. I would say, cut the portion into a quarter size and charge a quarter of the price. Maybe there might be more takers. It was served too large to be a side. Also, though it wasn’t busy, there was only one person taking orders, serving, and running the cash register. We waited over 20 min for our meal, so I can’t imagine how much worse it would be if the place were full like when school starts up in the fall. The sauces were somewhat disappointing… the soy ginger was too salty, the Korean one was too heavy on the red pepper paste, and the Thai jam just tasted like it was covered in Thai chili sauce. The K-BBQ restaurant Lynnwood in the HMart plaza food court had Kalbi flavored wings that were outstanding, but their prices are even higher, and the min order amount without sides is 10 pieces. If you go with a friend, it’s not so bad. Overall, I think this restaurant is harming the Chi Mac reputation. If you are making Korean fried chicken, please do it to the Korean standards. It is ridiculous to think that students would pay such high prices for such mediocre food, so unless the food quality goes up, business will start going down.
This is in the same spot as the old bb.q chicken, but I like this one a lot more! We had the pride half chicken and Szechuan wings. Both are super crispy when they are hot. And they are juicy inside
I have actually never been to this business or location. My credit card information was stolen and the person bought $130 of chicken the night before Christmas. I called the store to let them know not to waste their time or the chicken because the order was fraudulently placed. The worker Noah was so kind to me on the phone. Told me thank you for letting them know, said he was so very sorry this happened to me and that he hopes I have a great Christmas. This was so kind to hear. Thank you again Noah and I hope Chi Mac knows they’re lucky to have you as an employee.
Not sure what some people experienced. However, my meal was a togo and the chicken they had was so delicious. I tried both Sichuan and Snow wings and my favorite were the Snow wings. It was definitely delicious, hot, flavorful and quick to prepare the food! I would come back and try whenever I crave chicken!
This place has a great vibe. Atmosphere is laid back with good music in the background. The Korean chicken wings are delicious. The skin is nice and crispy. The meat is tender and juicy. The sauce is flavorful and just the right type of spicy. Not overpowering and doesn’t burn your tongue off. I highly recommend the chili jam wings.
