Chez Max

Poorly portioned food from hot serving trays directly to you. Ordered the Big Man Special for takeout; it came with little meat/sides and many tiny bones. Flavour is decent for what is there. Paid 32 dollars (not including tip) for what's pictured. Not impressed and will not return.

We felt like we left Fort McMurray yesterday evening, when walking into Chez Max for the first time. Chez Max is decorated with the beautiful bright colours of Jamaica and filled with the aroma of fresh Jamaican spices. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly with positive and happy vibes, just as you would imagine in sun filled Jamaica. We absolutely love having a little slice of Jamaica right here in Fort McMurray , it helps us when needing a warm, and cozy escape from the long winters. Great job Chez Max! We will be back on the weekly!

What an absolutely wonderful place! The atmosphere is so welcoming and bright. The food is fantastic! I am a vegetarian and am so excited each time I go. Every time we come from Edmonton we have to get our Jamaican fix here.

Just got back from there. Amazing food and atmosphere. Great beer! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

The food was quick and good portions. They had a high chair for my son I just had to ask and our server even stayed and helped me get him set up in it. Service was great and the food tasted good. The prepped meals to go look amazing. We will go back tomorrow to try those before we leave! Thank you!
