This Depot is the last of it's kind. It is designated as a historic landmark. The artwork and decor have been restored to their former glory. It is well worth visiting.
It has an amazing tiny model train set up but it's not running. I think the price is realistic to what you get. Its a cute little place but if you go towards the end of the day know that they turn the lights off about 20 minutes before they close
A very nice collection of historical artifacts photos and displays covering many topics of railroading and especially the history of rail in Cheyenne.
The train depot/museum was excellent. The gift shop was well stocked with quality items. The admission to the museum was reasonably priced as well.
Awesome time. Check it out if you are around $7 per adult.
Very nice place to visit. They have a lot of neat stuff to buy.
Very beautiful inside & out! We loved the tile work inside and the architecture throughout the building. The whole place is like a work of art. Anything that gives love to trains is a hit with my 2 year old. It's an amazing place to see the trains and learn about the history... It's also a great location near other tourist attractions.
Definitely worth a visit, especially if you love steam locomotives!
