We are your friendly neighborhood Veterinary clinic located in Chestermere. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding care for your pet and exceptional customer service. We are always accepting new patients and see both dogs and cats.

Story

We are committed to provide your pets with the medical attention they deserve, by working in partnership with you and your family.

As an advocate for your pet, our goals are to continually educate and build trust through practicing progressive standards of excellence.

Making a difference in our pets and client’s lives is our purpose and mission.

Our prices are based on the Alberta Veterinary Medial Association (ABVMA) guidelines. Call or visit us for an estimate!

We love getting to know our clients and being involved in the community. We support Chestermere's listening tails program, and frequently present to children at schools. Look for us at Chestermere's community events such as the Mind Body & Spirit expo, Pet fest, the Country fair, Bark for Life (Canadian Cancer Society) and fall parade. We also put on a clinic open house and pictures with Santa in the winter!

We are always accepting new patients and welcome our clients to take a tour of our clinic!

Today was Toast’s first visit to Dr. Gabby love that she refers to herself as “Auntie Gabby” and it blew my expectations out of the water! Toast is a nervous cat and new to our family so I was a bit hesitant at first with how he’d do. Their “fear free environment” was 100% accurate. This is the best Toast has ever been with new people, and he had a great first experience with Chestermere Vet Clinic. I see us being lifelong patients.
The way my dog was treated showed true compassion for his well being and not just another number on a page. Additionally, they provided cost options and didn’t make me feel guilty for choosing to not move forward with certain work. I would like to sincerely thank all the vets and assistants for treating both myself and my dog with the upmost care and attention prior and post surgery. You guys rock!
Everyone who works here is absolutely wonderful! They're all so friendly and clearly love animals. It's a nice, small clinic that has calming music for your pet, a separate space to keep kitties calm in the waiting room, and a water cooler for you to use while you wait. They're also using aromatherapy! They have a sign up to let them know if you're allergic/sensitive so they can stop it ahead of your appointment. The exam rooms are nice and warm. They perform surgeries on Wednesdays and Thursdays subject to change and don't do overnight care. I brought my 9-year-old puppy in for a check-up yesterday as I was concerned about an abnormal growth. Amazingly, they were able to get him in for surgery today! Thank you to whomever canceled their appointment! Dr. Jeff was very thorough with explaining the procedure, and all the support staff - literally everyone - was extremely patient with answering any questions that I had. More important than any of this, though, is that the technologists, assistants, and doctor were all very gentle with my puppy and really took the time to get to know him and his needs. The surgery went well and everything ran smoothly when I picked him up. They sent me home with a lot of written information/resources to make sure that I was confident and equipped to continue his care at home. Included in the homecare package was a letter written from his perspective about what happened today after I dropped him off which made me feel oddly comforted. They even personalized his homecare bag! I'm glad to report that my puppy is resting peacefully at home and has given absolutely no indication that he was mistreated in any way. If you're looking for a good vet office, you've found it! I strongly recommend Dr. Jeff L., technologists Susan H. and Laura M., and Assistant Alexis K. Thank you to all of you for the outstanding care that you provided my puppy!
This team is absolutely incredible. They have treated our dog Maui like a member of their family with so much love! He is even the background on their computer and all the technicians make sure to stop by for snuggles in the appointment!
Can't sing the praises of Dr. Gaby and staff enough!! My 11 year dog experienced a significant trauma and they were there for us immediately! The care in early days and follow up have been second to none!
My puppy had an accident and fell off the bed so i rushed here to chestemere vet clinic because i thought his paw was broken. I had no appointment and they still managed to make a tiny little hole in their busy schedule to check him out! All that to find out i got scared for nothing and he was totally fine.. we all had a laugh and i left with my pupp! These people here care about animals more than money which is really rare nowadays. Best vet clinic in calgary and surroundings. Strongly recommend
After being rejected by multiple vet clinics on a Saturday for a gery concerning issue with our 8 week old puppy, Chestermere vet accepted us and booked us an appointment within the hour! We were so impressed with the pricing and the quality of service we are considering moving over to them for all our vet needs. Thanks so much for your compassion and understanding in our time of distress!
Thank you for squeezing Flynn in for her bladder infection at the end of your day Dr Gabby, you along side all your team were absolutely amazing, the follow up calls were unexpected and so appreciated. Everyone was so kind and loving to Flynn you can truly feel the love you all share for our fur babies. Thank you.
Thank you to Dr Lees and his excellent staff for putting up with my very excitable, greedy and noisy Boxer, Rosco when I brought him in to get microchipped and vaccination. Thank you for your patience with him and the amazing service provided.
I highly recommend Dr. Jeff Lees and his staff. They provided exemplary care to my senior cat when she became suddenly ill and took her in at the last minute. They provided a very calm, relaxed setting. The clinic is very clean and I appreciated the stress free environment not only for my kitty but myself as well. This is the first clinic I have seen with fear free and AAHA credentials, and the clinic and staff reflect this. They listened to my concerns and took excellent care of my kitty. Everyone is kind, caring, welcoming and professional. A nurturing, amazing environment for your animal friends. Five stars and more!
