Ches's Fish and Chips

Good service for a busy lunch. I had a mexi chicken routine, small onion rings food is good for a fish and chips place.

Same great taste the St. John's Ches's. Had 3 piece with fries. Eat with loads of tarter sauce. Self service concept. Place needs an update though.

I went to the restaurant later in the day; around 1330 pm. There were two other people there. I order 3 pieces of fish and potatoes. The girl who was at the counter told me that it came to $26.00; then I had to go to the washroom.it took about 10 minutes to get my order; I got two complaints; 1. The crust on the fish was hard and very dry. 2. I couldn't eat three pieces of and put one in a box to take home; later that night I ate the last piece of fish, the fish didn't have any flavor and crust was soggy . I won't be eating at this restaurant for a long time! Thank you for asking for my honest opinion!

Food was terrible and when I asked them why they didn't do a quality check after they brought my food they looked at me weird and said We don't do that here by which I responded well you are the only restaurant in the world who doesn't Then the cook ran out from out back in my face wondering who was causing trouble Feel violated and will be following up My 8 and 12 year old were devastated

First time ever eating here. Didn't have any sauces for pub style wings. Nice Newfie atmosphere. Crispy tasty chips for the poutine. Juicy filling burger.
