Nice little zoo. Cpl things to see. Trails are rough but passible. Not a highly funded zoo like in major cities

Fantastic little zoo. Easily. Covered in a hour or two. Decent range of animals for a zoo of this size.

This was the most depressing zoo I've ever been too. I went there a few years ago and the poor animals look so sad and barely look taken care of at all.. absolutely broke my heart. I hope there has been some major improvements since then.

Great small zoo. My 3 year old daughter loved it. The staff was very friendly.

I read the reviews of this place and thought it wouldn't be that bad, probably just eco-hippies bashing a zoo. I went there today on a weekday with a friend as something to do and it was actually depressing. We drove up and right past the entrance because it's so small. We walked in the gift shop/entrance and could easily have walked right into the zoo because nobody was standing there. We had to call the 1 employee to the front desk so we could pay. We spent about 1 hour walking around the zoo and encountered some very depressed animals, including some monkeys who looked like starving children in Africa and a snow leopard who probably died a week ago and has been lying there since. There wasn't 1 employee in the zoo and we only saw 2 other groups of people the whole time we were there. How this place still exists I have no idea. Looks to me like this town is not big enough for a zoo. This place should be shut down.
