I love their foods. Very Tasty, right on time & many. We ordered chicken fried rice, beef lo mein, orange chicken, sweet & sour pork, eggrolls not in picture & fried shrimp. We have ordered in the past & there’s time the foods were not to their regular standard but we give them another try. Overall, it worth the money you spent.
We absolutely love the food !! I feel like this is the only take out place that has never once disappointed me over the years !! The food is delicious. The portions are huge. The prices are so reasonable . The staff is always nice and efficient. The whole experience is always so satisfying !!
Food was made fast hot and fresh. Service was very friendly and the prices were good. Had the chicken balls, Shanghai noodles, wontons, almond vegetable, and beef fried rice. All of it was excellent. Perhaps not the best I've ever had but certainly very good. Would definitely have it again when in town.
Love that some of the food is prepared gluten-free even without asking. Would really love it if they brought back a combo plate that is totally gluten-free again.Food: 5/5
People have place done in industrialized plastic the cook in the kitchen by himself with a non-medical mask, the reception person N95 M and gloves. I can excuse the mental instability but the food was less than the wonton soup was water. The chicken lo mien was very little chicken. The Beef broccoli was very plain.
The team working there are friendly and very helpful. This restaurant is takeout. I ordered a combo #3 and wonton soup. The soup was really good, broth was tasty and wontons were good and meaty. My combo was supposed to be fried rice, chop suey, chicken balls and shrimp. The fried rice was fresh, well prepared and flavouful as was the chop suey. The chicken balls were not good. First they are just massive they are about 3 inches in diameter, the batter is very thick, super chewy and just all around not pleasant. What about the shrimp you ask? I don't know how they are...they never made it into my meal, so that was disappointing to say the least. Even with the negatives, there was enough good about the food and service, that I will try them again, but just won't order the chicken balls and will be sure to check my order before I leave.
Meh , Mediocre. Nothing that made me want to eat it again . Someone recommended it to me but I've had better I guess. Update: The day after, I ended up adding authetic spices & vegetables Yes. I did my research to the recipes of the things I bought since I didn't want my money to go to waste then it wasn't as bad. Reason why it's now 3 stars. Still second guessing if I would buy it again though.
The food was fresh, hot, and delicious! The serving sizes for the combo meals are very satisfying. By far my whole Families favorite takeout restaurant.Food: 5/5
CHEF WOK IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE in the ENTIRE CITY! I only gave it 4 stars because Im wishing theyd open another restaurant in the other side of the peninsula so I wouldnt have to bribe the only person in our house with a lisence to drive me into Owen Sound when my cravings strike! Lol! The food is delightful! We always order 2 or more different dinners off the individual dinner menu depending on how many of us are eating & make like a buffett when we get home. Everyone gets decent size portions of their favorites, we stuff ourselves silly & usually have enough left over for the next days lunch! The folks that left bad reveiws, I just cant see how they had a bad experience! Ive been ordering from them for over 20 years RELIGIOUSLY, these fine folks have seen my family thru bday dinners, quick dinners, just me at home & treat myself dinners all these years, the foods ALWAYS fresh, hot, huge portions, excellent variety of all the best & favorite choices ud see others & urself order at any chinese food restaurant, theyll even mix & match if u are POLITE & ask giving a reasonable explanationie: allergies. Its been a while since my last visit & i actually honestly was expecting their prices to go up..as they should but prices havent gone up by much & for the meal u receive for the price u pay ITS BAR NONE THE BEST in the entire city...& ive been dragged reluctantly to the all the others & the quality, quanity of the food in those other restaurantsfor the price u pay...TRUST ME U ARE BETTER OFF to order Chef wok & eat at home!or wherever u choose to of course!
As mentioned by others, great portions and the batter & veggies are definitely fresh. I recommend any of their soups. Lunch specials are a bargain, and on top of that they have specials for students I think $4.50. I'll be back for more!
