Tired of seeing the same food choices offered at every wedding and corporate event? Then why not spice things up a bit? Imagine your event being catered by one of Halifax’s top chefs! Chef Abod came to Canada 13 years ago after working as a Personal Chef for a Saudi Prince, and as an Executive Chef for a 4-star hotel. He’s won several culinary awards for his work.

Chef Abod will create a spectacular menu of intensely flavourful and succulent foods, from appetizers to desserts. Your guests can experience an assortment of traditional Middle Eastern and Canadian dishes. And as always, Chef Abod chooses locally-sourced fresh, healthy ingredients to expertly prepare your feast!
Chef Abod catering offers Middle Eastern and various other international cuisines for all occasions, including: dinner parties, birthday parties, wedding receptions, baby showers, office parties, corporate functions and conferences. We will work with you to fit our menu to your budget for your special event. You'll find an excellent array of tasty Middle Eastern cuisine as well as a full range of other dishes on our menu for reasonable prices. Be sure to impress your guests and make your event special with our gourmet dishes. Middle Eastern cuisine is always fresh, healthy, lean and absolutely delicious! All of our ingredients are bought fresh daily and much is locally sourced.

We do things a little differently at this catering company…
We can prepare all of the menu items in your kitchen or the kitchen at the event location. We hand pick all of the ingredients the morning of your event and transport them in coolers to your site. These methods enable us to ensure you are getting the highest quality and freshest products available.

We also offer a pickup service for those who are on the run and need a delicious meal to take home and pop in the oven.

Delicious healthy lunchtime meals delivered right to your office.
It isn’t always easy to eat well and healthily at lunch time, but our freshly made meals are packed with healthy and delicious ingredients with a choice of a hot or cold menu.
They are normally served “help yourself” buffet style so individual portion control is easy.
Maybe you want to celebrate a colleague’s birthday, or perhaps entertain important clients.
From a simple healthy lunchtime wrap, to a sophisticated afternoon tea, and everything in between, Chef Abod Catering will do it all for you at your office or home.
And remember, no delivery charge over $200 in HRM !
★ I really do love playing with my food. I love it when a crisp vegetable ‘snaps’ when you break it; the ‘sizzling’ sound of food being tossed into a hot saute pan, and the way flavor just ‘perks right up’ when the correct amount of seasoning is added. I love everything about food; from the way it grows, to the way we prepare it, to the way we eat it (be it with fingers, a fork or a pair of chopsticks).

To me, life is too short not to enjoy great food. I believe in taking fresh ingredients and preparing them simply, with lots of attention to the details. I like to translate this belief into all my events, large or small, so that everyone can enjoy great food, simply created with lots of love.
