The food was decent but maintenance & appearance issues took away any enjoyment. Washing the windows & sweeping the floor would make a huge difference. There's a digital menu screen but they've taped up bits of paper to change the prices instead of just updating the screen. Temperature in the restaurant was a problem - it was a cold day but there's no blinds on the windows so it got quite hot from the sun. An employee propped the front door to cool it down which caused us to freeze. Perhaps takeaway is worth it, but I wouldn't dine-in again.
Tried this for the first time a few weeks ago. Freshly made, delicious food! Quality is pretty good and dine in was hassle-free. Service is prompt. We ordered a few Manakish breads, flatbread, Arabic coffee and Karak Chai. I am a chai fiend and I thought this one was outstanding, perhaps one of the best I've had in GTA. Value for money and pocket-friendly! Will try again.
Let me tell you something, this place has the BEST FATTOUSH SALAD!! The portion of the salad was just Right! So fresh, bite after bite after bite ! Ordered the Zatar with Cheese, beef Manakesh and Cheese Manakesh and they were all absolutely delicious! Would definitely come back here if we are in the Hamilton area Decor was so nice and warm and made you feel as if you were back home in the Middle East Glad we found this little gem and wish nothing but the best for this establishment Inshallah Thank you again for your hospitality and wonderful food Cheezaatar
Taste is good but the service/presentation is bad. This is not how a mahmara should be served, also ordered two manakish for two people dining in and they served them in one plate instead of two plates. Clearly the employees lack experience. You should keep it flat and cut it in triangles. Also there is question about cleanines of the restaurant.
Ahmed is amazing server, he makes sure all customers get what they ordered and feel happy. I recommend to come and dine in to have all Fatayer fresh and Juicy.
Our family went there for the first time and everyone loved anything they ordered. The flavors were exotic and authentic service was polite and friendly.....though it's a small restaurant with limited parking space in front of the restaurant but we would definitely go again
If you ever go to Lebanon and eat where the locals eat, this is probably what its going to taste like. Tried the zatar with and without cheese and the foul. Delicious. Nicely packed and freshly made. Will go back definitely.
Cant say enough about this place. Have been there twice, food is amazing, service is nice, staff is polite. Again food is just delicious. I can just eat the bread on its own wothout anything. So fresh and right out of oven. Love the foul and hot chicken.
Honestly I am very upset, I asked for the items to be kept open, they were folded in half not like what I asked for. The cheese with Muhammara looked bad when I picked up the order, tasted so banal, then we even realized the dough is raw and not cooked through. Maybe this is because it was towards the end of day and the staff were exhausted, but this first experience for us was beyond terrible. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.
