I recently visited for their anniversary celebration and I’m so glad that they’ve been in business for the last six years and I’m sure many more to come! Although they have a very small menu each of their items is very unique and made with the highest quality and consistent results. I love the double fromage cheesecake and especially the chocolate flavour but I also love this classic Japanese cheesecake as well. Delicious!
After hearing so many positive things about Cheese Garden from my friends, I was looking forward to trying some of their desserts. I've now tried 4 different items from their menu: the uji matcha tiramisu, Japanese cheesecake, double fromage cheesecake and baked cheese tart pictured. All of them tasted good and had nice presentations. The cheese tart was a lot bigger than I expected, which was a bonus! However, it is worth noting that there are other Japanese shops in Toronto that have similar desserts at lower prices.
Wanted to buy a frozen cake and the girl tried her best to recommended consume in one hour. Very responsible for the product. So I didn’t buy that after consideration. Ordered a yogurt drink and took about ten min to finish. The girl looked not sure about the recipe.
The best cheesecake I have had in a long time! So light and also creamy - the different layers of matcha and regular cheesecake make this much more interesting than your typical Japanese cheesecake. It is a little bit more on the pricey side - about $24 total but certainly worth every penny! Would recommend for sure for the perfect light dessert option. I will definitely be going back to try the other options in their cheese garden
Not the best cheese garden location I’ve had. The layer of cake ladyfingers were soggy so I think it might’ve been frozen prior. Just a little doubtful about how fresh the desserts are. I also got home and realized I was not given the matcha powder for my matcha tiramisu…
I have to give them 5 stars. The cakes I tried is tasty, decoration is on point, packaging is nice and amazing. My recommendations are everything : I tried the uji matcha tiramisu, matcha double formage, cheese tart. All is good and delicious.
The best cakes in Toronto! I eat this every occasion!! I recommend the double fromage original and matcha. My son and I got it a little early in the morning so it was frozen, but still very delicious!
My boyfriend and I were so excited to try a dessert from this shop. We love Japanese desserts as it's delicate, balanced and prepared to perfection. Unfortunately the Sunday cheesecake we had was far from that. The ice cream was so watery and totally plain of flavor. The cheesecake was so frozen hard and tasted like it got freeze burn for being frozen uncovered... cheesecake is supposed to be creamy and soft. That was so wrong, we tried a few bites and we had to dump it. It was not worth the calories.
The matcha tiramisu didn’t wow me but it did taste good. Would be great if there were more matcha powder to go with the order. The texture and everything was what I expected for a tiramisu. Was slightly disappointed that the tiramisu came in a craft container and not a wooden box like how it was presented on the display.
Not a dessert person… but this place is sooooo gooood!!! Love their Yaki cheese pudding original, chocolate and coffee flavors. I have tried their Matcha Cheesecake as well!! Yes, it is on the expensive side but really worth the money
