Awesome selection of cheese and great personal service. The prices are totally comparable to what you'd pay for the same kind of cheese in a major grocery store, except in this case the staff can talk to you about the product and make recommendations. You can also buy prepared sandwiches, deli meats, olives, crackers and tings like that.

Neighbourhood Tip: they make some AMAZING panini sandwiches around lunchtime, for a fair price. Delicious! I never know exactly what I’m looking for when I walk in there. I tell the owner what I want the cheese for, and we begin the tasting smorgasbord. Patient and polite, they are always willing to help me find just what I’m craving. I always leave happy.

As a cheese fanatic I can say that this place is fantastic. A wide variety of cheeses from around the world. Very helpful customer service, he even let us taste some of the cheeses before we purchased any. Yum yum.

Excellent source of pastries, including genuine croissants rather than the mere crescent-shaped objects made of bread so often served in Toronto. Don't overlook the bread, which is also great! We are talking patisserie AND boulangerie here. There is also a seating area where you can have a coffee with your pastry, or savoury snack. It is quite popular, in my observation, but I am a take-away customer.

The cheese here is of very good quality. But customer service is extremely poor and in fact quite rude. They up sell you by deliberately cutting larger pieces of cheese and then forcing u to buy it... even if u clearly told them u don't want such large quantities. I still do go here cause of lack of options to get good quality cheese. But I certainly don't have good opinions of this business.

Cheese was alright, but it was super expensive. There is a huge markup, even for cheeses you can buy at the grocery store you'll notice that it is like three times the price for the same amount. But massive selection. I paid $41, for a block of cheese that would cost me $11 at the grocery store. :

Pricey but great selection of cheese and crackers! Didnt try the soft ones stuck mostly to the swiss, gruyere, and cheddar. Will be back!!! Just hope they had better meat selection i dont mind that they had a few but it looks like an after thought

Great service, amazing variety. The person behind the counter really took his time to explain to us what specific cheeses were, where they were from and he let us sample a few as well. Very well worth it!

Great service from the knowledgeable staff - great selection of fine cheeses - a little on the pricey side, but there is a lot of overhead for these small shops, so I understand.

I had my first experience with the Cheese Emporium last Sunday, and I needed help picking out some cheeses to share with my family. Tom provided excellent customer service; he answered all my questions and was eager to let me try samples. I felt properly looked after, and confident in my selection. I will definitely be visiting this location again, if only for more Bleu de Chevre, which may well be the best blue cheese I've ever tasted.
