I LOVE halohalo and the one they make here is sooooo good. Their menu is shockingly huge, with desserts and snacks of all kind AND savory food all at very affordable prices! Always fun to get a nice drink and snag some new snacks that are displayed around :
My friend and I stopped here in search of decent coffee on Christmas. The cashier was super nice and interacted with us when our coffees were ready, saying we seemed like artists or Musicians both factors are true for me . My friend's coconut milk coffee was very decadent, and my frappe was perfectly plain with just a touch of sweetness. I was too shy to ask how it tasted, just had faith that it would be plain/lightly sweet; it was just that! Definitely want to learn more about the food there, so I can order a meal or check out the snacks. I'm completely clueless, but definitely willing to learn. I absolutely loved the little baggies we got for our drinks too, I hate holding a cup during a walk, and it was perfect. We had walked a couple miles in search of a coffee shop.
Loved this place! The owner seemed really cool. And there were more than just desserts there. It does have amazing vegan options as well!
This place doesn't deserve any star but a negative rating from me for their customer service. I am a return customer because I like their drinks, however today I feel like I was treated unfairly and was lied to. I live in Kent and I don't usually go up to Seattle but today I was up there running an errand and wanted to stop by to get a Cambodian desert, also I needed to pee badly. I ask to order a Cambodian desert. The lady at the register said "no, that's not Cambodian desert that's Malay Malaysian. I said I wanted the Cambodian desert on the menue board. She then said again "it's not Cambodian it's Malay, it's the same thing" I said ok, so why don't you just say Cambodian instead of trying to confuse me". At this point I wasn't even try to argue with her so I ordered my drink. After I paid for my drink I then asked the lady if I can use the restroom while I wait. I looked around and there's no sign that say "No Public Restroom" or nothing like that. So the lady at the registered said she don't have the code. Then I ask the lady in the back she said we lost the key. It was already a bad start then this happened, I feel like they were both lying to me and being stingy. After that I was just thinking to myself wow really...so I got my desert and walk out and said to them that I don't believe you don't have a key and I will make sure to write a review about this. Then the lady at the register change her story say "no no the key is over there but for another restroom" I just didn't want to hear it so I left. Smh...like really? My bladder is about to blow and I spend my money to support them but I can't use the bathroom? Never going there again. There's one right next door and all over every corner. You're not special anymore. Sorry but not sorry!
The owner and staff were friendly and explained the menu items I was not familiar with. Great variety of foods and desserts. I ordered what they reccomended and it was all fresh and delicious! Definitely coming again!
The owner of the place was my cashier. He was very nice and I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere. He was very knowledgeable about the health benefits of his dishes. There are a lot of interesting drinks and street food here. I brought the pork and beef burgers. They are similar to banh mi but pretty good. My bf and I like the burgers here. Just be careful of parking. This place is so tight to park and it doesn't seem like people respect the driving rules in the parking lot.
We have been won over to Vietnamese condensed milk shaved ice desserts, aka Chè, because of this place. We now go here, sometimes multiple times, every visit to Seattle. Their best kept secret is the mung bean and durian dessert - the amount of durian is unusually generous in that selection, but every dessert I have tried and also recommend their "Malaysian dessert" - maybe a pro durian bias is showing... is indulgent and delicious. Somehow cannot find any pictures of their food on my phone, probably because it is always gone before there is an opportunity to photograph. They also have an extensive savoury menu, but have only tried their combination noodle soup, which is excellent.
Great selections of snacks and meals! Sitting are is not big, so you may wait to sit down sometime. Many customers just order take out. Parking can be a hassle but there is a parking lot. I do like what they have. Desserts are not too sweet, just the way I like.
Literally am FLOORED by this place!!!! The best che troi nuoc I’ve had in my life!!!! I ordered che troi nuoc for my daughters thoi noi, and they made the most exquisite che I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even ask for the colors and flower details! This was what they just gave me! I hope they read this review and know how special they made my event. You guys are the best!!!!!!!
Great and overwhelming menu. K6 is the first drink I bought from this place. Definitely coming back.
