i had hot water tank installed last Fall. The positive one is that the tank installation was fine and the tank has been working well so far. However, i had 2 issues with the company.
1. Extra charge ($50 plus taxes) for offering me a water retaining basin at the bottom of hot water tank. The technician told me that it is required by law, which i don't believe such law or regulation.
2. The service is not S.O.S. and not 24/7. I asked an appointment at night, but was told that they don't work at night. My appointment was cancelled last minute and got tank installed 4 days later

Great service. Was able to get an appointment within 3 days of quote. Price was a tiny bit less than their main competitor AND the technician moved my stacked washer and dryer for me (at no extra cost).

I had an issue with my hot water tank. I called them on Tuesday to make an appointment at 9 am on Thursday since I work at a certain time. The woman on the phone said she would call me at 8 to confirm. They call me Thursday at 8:39 telling me hey can come around 11ish saying that they did not I known was working. I had to insist for them to come at 9 before another appointment which they probably double booked.
Finally Mr Luc showed up at 9 on time which I was happy about. He was very polite and professional.
I do feel like I was a bit overcharged though
- I agreed to pay 160 for them to show up repair the unit.
-Luc said by top thermostat was the problem and it needed to be replaced
-He then insisted to replace The bottom thermostat one “just in case”
—he said when he touched the top thermostat it startwd again and it was probably faulty wiring inside
So i agreed to replace the bottom one as well...i know right ?
I agreed what he said just to avoid the akwardness.. but I feel a bit ripped off especially the costs of the parts and I don’t think I will call this company again

On top of that they did not leave my old thermostats, how i know if they were no good if i dont even have them with me anymore ...
...I checked thermostats at home depot they for 20-30 dollars each, i knew thtis but did not contest this as I have him working on it already. I should Of asked the price of thermostats before he installed them but even there what I am supposed to do? He already has my tank open and working on it...
I would recommend to ask questions on the phone before agreeing to anything..

Broken water heater during holiday time. Called SOS, and "Nicolas" the plumber arrived the same day.
Very pleasant and good service. Helped me save money.

If i could give them a negative start I would. They installed a hot water tank and after one month it stopped working on a Saturday. They said to call the manufacturer, its not their problem. Being saturday we got to reply from manufacturer so Chauffe-EUA Laval said there is nothing they can do to help us. I asked not even as customer courtesy even if it is under one year warranty with Manufacturer coudn't they just send someone to look at it. NOOOOOOO its not their problem. Sick and tired of companies taking no responsibility or wanting to help out. They showed up very fast to get paid! Probably sold me a lemon and they did not want to help me out in any way. Have to stay with cold water until MANUFACTURER DECIDED to contact us because these people who are situated 5 minutes away from us wont come and take a quick look. CUSTOMER SERVICE ZERO!
