Chatters Hair Salon

Very unhappy with both my moms haircut and my own. We both came at separate times and neither of us left happy. My mom didn’t end up paying for her haircut because she was so upset, and that was nice, but that doesn’t make her feel better about her appearance. She came for a haircut because she is returning to work next week and now she doesn’t have the confidence she has always felt her hair gave her. I don’t know if the hairdressers working there don’t know what they are doing? Or if they are fresh out of hair school but it genuinely seemed like they were just cutting hair at random because there is nothing blended about her hair. Also the salon was in need of some maintenance, chairs were ripped open and stuffing was coming out, did not feel like it was the quality you pay for when you go to a Chatters. Would NOT recommend!

I went and showed the lady a picture of how short I wanted my hair and the picture was just a straight cut, up to the shoulders but it had no layers in it whatsoever and she said okay and started to wash and blow dry my hair and when she was cutting the length was good so I was pleased at that moment but then she started cutting layers without asking and it’s bad enough that she did but they’re so choppy! 6 people noticed and said something without me telling them! not coming back

Haven't been to the hairdressers in over a year and I am soo so happy I chose to go to chatters because Jo absolutely nailed it with my hair!! She was so friendly and nice and listened to what I wanted while also knowing exactly what to do! I am obsessed and can't thank her enough! Definitely recommend this hair salon and absolutely recommend Jo!

I went into the salon to get my hair washed and styled. I told the stylist I was going to a wedding and needed the style to last the evening. I went home after my hair was done and within half an hour of getting home my hair started to fall out/relax. It looked so nice before. I was devastated. Now what was I supposed to do!? My relative tried to help by curling with a curling iron and hairspray but we couldn't get it to look as nice as it did when I first arrived home. I didn't even go anywhere after I left the salon. I went straight home. What a waste of money! Won't be returning to Chatters in Abbotsford.

Just tried to book an appointment and was unsuccessful at doing so, as the lady kept putting me on hold. I hung up out of frustration and will not be booking an appointment here again. The fact that you can't spend 20 seconds on the phone to finish booking an appointment says a lot about your customer service. With that being said the lady who usually cut my hair there (Michelle I think her name is) did a fantastic job when I was able to see her.
