Charles Bowman Public School

The staff at Charles Bowman have always been kind while also assertive when dealing with the usual problems between students. We are always notified when our children are injured or not feeling well. This year, our children are involved in school sports and loving every minute of it. I truly believe that they are having their best lives at Charles Bowman!

I love this school! I went to the this school from kindergarten to grade 6. It was a overall the best school I've been to. I have since parted and now go to a intermate high school. I never realized how much this school did for me until I left. Well I was there I had no problems, the worst thing that happened to me was when they switched the school form k-8 to k-6 but that was not even that bad! Everything I learned was from that school and I consider myself pretty bright. I 100% recommend this school for your child -from a former student of Charles Bowman!

I went here for kindergarten and I had to move to another school because I was bullied and the teachers did nothing even though I was not ok. Also a teacher was very rude to me and that caused me issues in the future.

I went here for seven years, got bullied, harrassed, manipulated, and plenty more, and what was done about it... nothing! Charles Bowman is a terrible school. I know other children who go there now and get disciplined for self defense. Let's just say, one of the worst schools in bowmanville. Also, I never learned a thing at this school. Most teachers and staff are manipulative and disrespectful.

i am just a kid at this school but that is why my oppinon matters the most becuz i have been here since grade one all my teachers are pretty nice but i have had a couple jerks for teachrs like thus one teachr whould not get off their phone and one yellad at my class and the truth is that we where beter then ever and i have been bullied

pretty good school, i was there from kindergarten to 6th grade. still dont know why they removed the big hill from the yard tho

As a student I used to go there. Most of my time there was... Exceptional.. as I moved on the street and it was the only school nearest to me. The crossing guard was extremly nice and I think you should thank her for what she does if you see her.

worst school ever. attention all parents who's child goes to Charles Bowman. if your child goes to school with a scrape on their knee, & the child complains about it. the school WILL NOT contact you. instead they will call children's aid. ciara fell off a scooter on the long wkd and has scratches on her belly. so instead of them calling me, to inquire, they went and called children's aid because it's "protocol" not to call the parent. so if your child falls and scratches him or herself keep them home. if you don't you will have CAS at your door.

Horrible treatment of students. I remember walking down the kindergarten hallway and a little boy dropped his juice box on the ground. The teacher screamed at him. When I was in kindergarten, the teacher would help you clean up whatever you spilled or clean it up themselves. The older student teachers are so rude, jeez. If you pick up a ball like two minutes before the bell rings for recess the teacher will start to yell at you and get mad. It's ridiculous.

I am now in 5th grade and in kindergarten I went to this school and one day one kid in first grade was bullying my best friend I told the teacher and she said deal with it yourself his mom after school texted my mom say he had a bruise and cut and the teacher obviously could of helped him and done something but didn't care at all so then I left that next year and now I'm happy at my new school but don't see that friend anymore cause he moved away
