It was our first time there and we loved it very much. Very nice service we had a request on the soup, they did it wrong but quickly fixed the issue. They recommended the lamb polo rice and it was really good! Never had a rice dish with dry fruit and fresh pomegranate, and they definitely offered a refreshing taste to the lamb. I recommend finishing the dish first when it's warm or it'll become a bit greasy. Overall we loved everything. The only little downside for me personally is that I wished there were more greens vegetables to balance out.
Charcoal Kebab House Do I Recommend? It’s interesting food, I didn’t enjoy all my dishes, but they definitely had some very good dishes. They are close to 4 star but due to the hygiene concern and the fact not all dishes taste great, I am giving only 3 How is the service? The service was okay, their water glasses and plates look dirty. so I am slight worried about their hygiene issues… many places of the restaurant also felt sticky. But still somewhat acceptable… How is the food? Their food was pretty decent. The person who recommended us there said the restaurant used to taste much better. I guess COVID-19 impacted their quality, hopefully their qualify bounce back soon. I definitely recommend the Samsa bread with lamb fillings. The medium dapanji didn’t taste good, spicy lamb kebab was mediocre. but Samsa and Sheep Giblet Soup was good.
The food is amazing here very authentic, lamb skewers are tender and delicious, some of the other dishes I have tried are also amazing have nothing to complaint about, it’s a bit pricy but it’s worth it. A good heads up I’d you want to come gotta make a reservation ahead because this place it’s always packed. Overall the food and services are pretty amazing we’ll come again .
Simply AMAZING! We were pleasantly surprised by how yummy the vip langman tasted. It was our favorite dish among the three dishes we had. The second best dish were the super tender lamb skewers that came with some yummy bread and salad. The third dish were the ribs that were very nice, but not as good as the vip langman. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
It was okay.. The salad was pretty good, kebab was alright not too much flavor, DaPanJi- the chicken didn't taste that fresh, potatos not too much flavor, . the lamb rice was really good though, awesome pops of flavor from the raisins, a great dish. However, some of the utensils were dirty, and they didn't serve any glasses of water... Kind of ridiculous.
The sheep goblet soup is so delicious! And the ingredients are also quite rich. The large Dapanji is enough for four people to share. It’s tasty too. And the woman staff here is so friendly and nice. Would recommend to other friends.
My God why did we wait so long to try this place. Food is so flavorful so unique it's unbelievable. We tried sheep giblets soup chicken and kidney barbecue skewers , lamb pilao and noodles can't recall the name and every single one of the dish was superb. Delicious , fresh and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back and try the main dish platter I think called dapanja. So happy to learn it's Halal too
Yummy huge lamb kebabs! Chicken dish is yummy too with noodles and potatoes. Spice level is slightly less than authentic food but you can always ask for extra spice. Service was pleasant
I went here with a friend on a colleagues recommendation. It is pretty small family owned restaurant. It was pretty full but we did not have to wait too long to get a table. Staff here was friendly. We ordered the lamb manta first. My friend liked it but the lamb taste and smell was too strong for me. For the main meal we ordered chicken dipanji. The serving size was quite big and more than 2 people can easily eat it. Dipanji was an interesting dish. It tasted good initially but with every bite there was a very zingy taste to it which kept on increasing. I had to stop eating it after a while. I would like to go back here to try their kebabs as they looked really good saw other tables ordering them. But I did not like chicken dipanji.
Oh what a hidden gem!! Absolutely must visit. I wish the place was a bit bigger, I’m very glad we called in and made reservations because it is always booked!! Cannot find tables for walk in so make sure you book a time slot. The place is a bit small but they manage it very well. The staff are super friendly and nice. The food is incredible. We tried the kabli Palao that everyone mentioned it was good, however the Kababs were the ones that stood out for us. Such tender and delicious Kababs, we ended up ordering more. They are incredible. The prices are also very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit!
