Champlain Motel & Restaurant

Breakfast was really good and the restaurant was very busy. We also went for supper mid-week. The place was far less busy the food portions were large but mediocre at best. Our server was more concerned with finding the channel that she wanted on the large TV then actually paying attention to her customers. The reason I'm leaving a 3-star for this restaurant is simply due to the fact that their breakfast service is fantastic and so is the meal.

The rooms are a good size, but the walls are paper thin. We had to call the front desk, who didn't answer the first couple of times to address the noise from the adjacent room at 2am. After two hours of the front desk being unable to address the noise issues, we had to call the police. It was 5am before we could finally get to sleep. Besides the noise, the toilet flap kept getting stuck, we had flies, and the television service was terrible. Luckily the wireless internet service was good so we could connect a laptop and watch Rogers On Demand as a replacement to television.
