Josh came highly recommended from a close friend who also used his services. We had a house full of antiques, artifacts and collectibles that was curated over 30 years and we were looking for someone to fairly value most of what we had and help us sell a good portion of our things - a big task to say the least. Needless to say, Josh was very easy to work with. He's honest, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, making our experience with him great. Would I work with Josh again? Absolutely! Would I recommend Josh to a friend? Yes! Best thing about working with Josh? He's honest, very fair, and resourceful. If he can't do it, he knows someone that may. All in all, a wonderful experience especially in a dimensioning antiques market. Glad to know there are people out here passionate about keeping the antiques/collectibles market alive. I needed someone knowledgeable to offer guidance, as I assisted my parents in simplifying the contents of their home. A home that was full of loved pieces, passed along for generations. I contacted Josh to help us understand if pieces had value and how to have family discussions about sentiment/ joy vs value in the market. Josh joined me to tour the family home and was extremely sensitive and engaged in his conversations with my parents. His sideline advice to me has been insightful and given me an invaluable framework to better assist my parents and to have informed discussions with my brothers. We surfed the internet for a trustworthy business in the area and decided on Chamberlain Antiques. We were not disappointed and we are very happy we choose them to sell some of our estate items. Joshua Chamberlain proved himself to be an honest and respectful businessman. We would definitely do business with him again and would refer him to our friends. It has been a pleasure to deal with Josh at Chamberlain Antiques. Over the past year we have sold Josh many of our items from our collection and each time it went smooth, Josh was very honest and not to mention so knowledgeable in the field of Asian antiques. One thing that I can say is he never left us hanging he was quick to let us know what we had and was very fair with his offers. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and look forward to doing business again.

Working with Chamberland Antiques and Josh has been a pleasure, despite rather difficult circumstances. In assisting with my parent's estate, he accomodated travel necessary, was uncompromisingly honest, offering valuable insight and advice. We found him sensitive to our particular needs and dependable. The end result was being able to proceed with a sense of trust, providing a worthwhile experience due to his strong sense of professionalism and integrity/ethics, so lacking today in many business endeavors.
