I’ve just bought pita bread from FreshCo, and once again, it had mold on it before the expiration date. This is the third time this has happened, and it’s clear that FreshCo isn’t properly rotating or preserving their bread. They need to remove old stock and replace it with fresh products to ensure customers are getting safe, quality food. I’ve already contacted the Ministry of Health about this issue, as it’s unacceptable for a store to continue selling moldy bread. Freshness and food safety should be a top priority.
I went today at this location and found that they were selling a flower planter for $5 as advertised. There was another person buying the same product. We arrived at the checkout counter, and the cashier told me that the price was not correct. The guy manager was called, and he honored the price because it was a mistake from their end. He said it only applies to the dead flowers. Where does it say on the advertised price that says dead flowers? So the other lady got the flowers for $5. However, when it was my turn, the cashier told me that she can't give it to me at that price despite the approval of the manager. I questioned her how come the other lady was given the $5 a pot but not me? And mind you, the cashiers were speaking with their own Indian language in front of me. The other cashier cashed out the other customer with no problem. I was disappointed because it's a matter of principle. Will never go back to this store as I was not treated right.
Bought a couple items last night and noticed on the receipt after I got home that I was charged $15 for a flower bouquet which I didn’t purchase. Had to drive all the way back and convince them that I did not buy the bouquet. Wonder how many other people pay for items that they don’t even purchase. No way this could have been an error.
This is the most dirty disgusting grocery store I have been to. The floors are littered with bags and food. Displays are messy and food is piled in heaps. The cashiere was polite. That's the only good thing about this place. Line ups are very long.
I went to the store during opening hours. Everything was very nice and clean. All the stuff was arranged on the shelves. And because of festival season most of the stuff was available on discounted prices.
