The best Cafe to get work done! The BEST Chai I’ve ever had. I had no idea how healthy traditional Indian Chai was compared to Coffee until the staff told me about it! Loved the lounge in the back with outlets and wi-fi and it blocks out a lot of noise to help me focus. Will definitely be coming here more often?
Amazing service and hospitality. A great place to sit with amazing chai, the workers didn't hesitate to let us try a little sample. As a South Asian Canadian, I grew up drinking chai and seeing the benefits of it. Not that coffee is bad but there is no crash after having chai and you can always tone down the level of spice levels. A good place to sit , relax before walking in rain
$7 for chai, that comes with a tea bag - that is not authentic Indian chai. I ordered Om chai on April 29th at ~4.30 PM. To my surprise, the chai was not pre-brewed like how an authentic Indian chai should be. They used to pre-brew the tea but something must have changed recently. And, just like Tim Hortons, the tea kept dripping from the lid. See attached picture.
Recently had chai at this location, had been looking for good Indian tea but was disappointed. The strong Indian flavors of which I am fan of was completely missing in 2 different chai I ordered. Samosa was also not "strongly flavored". I think we had gulab jamun, which was decent. Remember typical chai that is sold on Indian streets is very strong/kadak, generally with some spices. If you are looking for that kind of strong flavored tea, this is not the place. try out chai wagon or nukkad food truck, and you will know what I mean. If you want just a decent place in downtown where you can sit, relax, spend time with friends, its fine. Customer service was fine, but the flavors were missing.
I recently visited this Chai Ghai and was blown away by the authentic Indian tea or chai they served. As someone who's tried various teas at different cafes, I must say this one stands out from the rest. The aroma and flavor of the tea were spot on and I could really taste the spices used in the blend. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere of the place made my tea experience even better. Highly recommend trying their Indian tea or Chai if you're a tea lover like me. Kudos to the owner for bringing such an authentic taste to the table! #indianauthentictea #tealovers #cozycafe #bestcafe #teaexperience
This place is really amazing! I tried an iced chai latte and i fall in love with it. The service and hospitality was wonderful, also the veggie and butter chicken samosas were delicious. Definitely I’ll come back.
Service is great and a really chill vibe overall. They have a ton of different options for teas, they even have ice teas which is awesome, I had a sugar free iced chai latte which was pretty good.. better than an average chai latte from Tim’s.. it’s a bit pricey but I guess worth it since the quality of teas is pretty good.
Had an high expectation, but ended up with disappointment. I’ve drank at similar store front in Edmonton. Which was super delicious and tasted like a real Indian chai. But Granville one tasted just water and sugar not pre-mixed . Also the sleeves are super small for the medium Tea . Only good thing was Staff’s were friendly and good ambience . I wish these guys get a real Indian chai recipe . Edit:- Sorry, I had Mummiji Tea & not Coffee. And yes, I've been to your Granville location.
Good chai and good vibes! I had both the vegetable samosa and the butter chicken samosa which were great. Flavour was there and it was not oily. The chutney was perfect. I also had the Mummyji’s Masala Chai with oat milk but the first one did not have the kick of spice I am used to, mostly because the oat milk was added in after. Sunil wouldn’t let me leave without making sure it was perfect so he quickly made a new batch customized for my dairy intolerance and this one was perfect. The chai was the right amount of flavour, spice and sweetness. You have to try Chai Ghai!
I learned about this tea at the Southlands market and fell in love with the authentic spiced flavours. I had to stop drinking caffeinated coffee due to reoccurring headaches and find that this as a replacement is perfect! It doesn't give me burnout, tastes delicious, just as easy to make and best of all doesn't give me headaches. They also deliver locally - super nice to receive these packages right to my door. Keep up the good work and good flavours! Bought Mummyji's Masala Chai
