As a newly opened restaurant, it is not bad. I ordered shredded pork with pickled vegetables and noodles. I didn't like that kind of noodle, So I asked the staff if I could change the noodles. The staff was very pleasant and friendly and offered to modify it even though it wasn't on the menu. I also ordered a fried egg with toast and hot lemon tea. The food was reasonable and expected. The food court was very crowded though, but we still managed to find a spot. I would recommend this restaurant if you are just looking for a quick meal.
Good spot for some nice hk style food. Strong satay flavors for the noodles. Waited for about 30 mins and also food took about 20min as well. Food pricing is unmatched so I hope they won't increase prices too soon.Food: 4/5
Authentic Hong Kong style cafe. Not only delicious but also comforting. Very good claypot milk tea. Satay beef and pig liver are also yummy. Will come back again.
Went in fri 10:30 am, took 10 mins to order and 40 mins wait for the food. Toast and eggs taste good. Satay beef macaroni is ok. Its relatively cheap though so I guess you get your moneys worth. Limited seating.Recommended dishes
Love to see more HK style cafes are opening up in yvr. HK style Milk Tea is always my comfort food. This newly opened cafe in food court can make very authentic milk tea as they are keeping up the traditional style of using porcelain pots to make the tea base. Very much enjoyed the shinny, soft and creamy scrambled eggs served on a crispy toast. Will definitely come back to try their snacks and lunch set.
I have queued up there more than 40mins without ordering food until now. I give up now. Don’t waste your time to queue up. It is not worth to wait that food. Just a simple breakfast, you have to wait a hour or longer to eat. There are many choices. The ordering management is very worst. The food coming out is no one taken. Then it makes crowded of waiting food in front of counter. No management no flow. They don’t care people waiting.
My friend ordered one noodle with black pepper soup base, and he tasted too spicy because it had too much pepper. Almost just tasting pepper than other things else. The scrambled egg is good tho
I am very happy to have more Hong Kong style food in Richmond especially breakfast. I ordered the fried egg with toasts, satay beef noodles and iced milk tea. I liked the egg with toasts the most, they were just incredible. The milk tea was my cup of the tea. The way they make the is not always can be seen here. I will come back and try their and lemon tea for sure.
Food is fair but very salty. Waiting time is 45 mins in the Sunday noon. The main problem with them is they retained the never-admit-fault culture from Hong Kong, that they don't admit they took the wrong order and refused to correct our meal until my wife spending 3 mins reasoning with them in front of a very long line. Even the lady before us got the wrong order with her too but she was just fine with that. The wait is just not worthy with the food and I am not going to ride my luck with another 45 min just to hope that I would get what I order.
Be prepared to wait 40 minutes! Avoid peak hours! BUT! That being said, the scrambled egg sandwich and milk tea is worth the wait. arcade is right below, go spend some time there and come back
