Large sports complex belong to university de Montreal. It boosts large sports arena, gym, track fields and bouldering plus work out spaces. Really large and spacious although the building was constructed 50 years ago, mostly cement interiors , it is nice with many choices of sports that you can participate and practice in the same space.
Cepsum is really big so that's the best about it. You can attend classes or go to them gym/swimming pool by yourself. Some of the things I don't like is that the classes are not personalized enough for everyone to follow it at the same level. Non-beginners should not be allowed to take beginner classes in my opinion. Another thing that bothers me a little is how busy the gym gets, I'd love to see more machines available besides treadmills.
The gym might seem a bit small when it is crowded, but overall it is well organized, very diverse repertoire of activities are offered!
If you are Montreal university student, it has the best price for the quality and quantity of equipments
The renovations they did are perfect, the facilities are now really modern and clean, also pretty cheap for UdeM students. Staff is nice and the booking process is quick and easy.
Nice gym for udem students. I used the pool It was clean and nice. You have to wear a mask when not swimming. Also bring your own towel lock and flip flop : and shampoo. They sell locks there too for 16$ cad.
Good gym, nice sport facilities, however gym is always busy.
Very good place to train. The pool amenities were very well managed. The staff was very good. I haven't checked the gym so I can't say for sure, but I've been given good reviews.
Good place to exercise. Abundant equipment. Better if the soccer field can open both doors so that people can go through.
We were there for playing Futsal. The field was unbelievably small! Even for a 4-4 game. In fact they have divided a big salon into 3 smaller field which is a terrible idea of course for us, not the administration!. On one side the field, there is a unprotected concrete wall which is very dangerous for the players safety. The administration has not bothered itself to cover it with a protective pad. There are fan's stage behind both target which are not protected by net, so after every power shoot, your ball is up there in the fans stage and since the doors to the stages are locked you should climb up the wall to retrieve your ball! And the final master piece...they give you exterior football size 5 for the Futsal game! It playing with a balloon. So bring your own Futsal ball. I don't who is responsible for this center, but whoever he/she is, he/she is only thinking of making more money out of this facility. Why are you charging people so much while you can't even provide the basics of a standard sport activity?!
