I am new to the area and I stopped in to the library to sign up for a library card. I was amazed as I walked up to the door because it is a Carnegie library. The staff inside were very polite and helpful. The young man that helped me even shared some history about the library and local history about Centralia when I told him I am a history buff. It is really refreshing to meet someone who takes pride in their work. I know I will be visiting my new local library often. It is quiet, cozy and a place to relax and hang out with other fellow book enthusiasts.

When I moved to the area this was the first place I visited. Can't get internet services at home (weird right?) so, I checked out tons of DVDs (Criterion Collection, yeah!) and utilized the upstairs desks for internet. Though, I don't use their services as much as I should it is one of the best small town libraries I've ever used. Well organized and clean. Staff is super friendly, helpful, and professional.

PERFECT placement in town. Strategic even. It's easy to see from the road at all directions. The service here is great and I can't wait until the community can raise resources for an upgrade.

I have to say, I really don't like how beat up and unfriendly the place has become. Just gonna stick with their Chehalis branch.

I have traveled all my life & eveywhere I moved to (Army) I would find the library first.  For the last 12 yrs they have been the no# 1 with me.  The staff are always polite, friendly & helpful.  The interior is always clean & well organized. I'm fact I am seriously thinking about volunteering their.
