Centennial Park in etobicoke is a great outdoor space with plenty of parking. It has paved trails making for an easy walk. There is also a greenhouse which has a huge variety of plants and flowers. It’s well maintained and so enjoyable to walk through the path and examine all the different vegetation. We took our time and was there for about an hour but I could easily spend a few hours there. They have clean bathrooms and benches scattered throughout the greenhouse if you need a rest. Definitely a nice way to spend the afternoon.
So gorgeous and smells so good! It’s a great place to heal some of the winter blues. Definitely worth the visit! And there’s washrooms there! You can really tell the caretakers of this conservatory are very talented and care a lot—It’s one of the nicest I’ve ever been in!
Check out this winter's garden show 2022 features the poinsettia and the amaryllis flower. The poinsettia and all the hybrids are really stunning. The amaryllis varieties are beautiful as well. There are also other plants in the conservatory. Plants that you will probably see in tropical countries.
Such a fun experience! There are tons of different plants, flowers, succulents and tropical stuff. I myself aren’t really into botanic but it is still a fun place to check out. And there are plenty of parking lots nearby too. 5/5 would recommend.
There is an indoor botanical garden with a diversity of plants. In the back of the garden, you can have a wide space for playing Frisbee and a wide range of trails to have strolling around. I highly recommend this place for everyone to visit.
A beautiful gem in the city, especially during the long winter! Well managed and the live classic music FM 96.3 played inside the garden is so harmonious with the gorgeous flowers, and lifting the spirit and the experience to the next level. A big thank you to all the people who made it available!
This is where I visit when I need some much needed plant therapy. With three separate greenhouses there is something for every plant lover to enjoy and get some awesome garden inspiration. I really like the koi pond. It's is such a relaxing experience. The conservatory is great for children, it's wheelchair accessible and washroom amenities are available onsite.
Fresh flowers garden, eye catching decorations and maintained well by the staff, make sure to arrive the park conservatory before the closing time on weekends!. Spacious car parking but limited picnic table.
A great spot to spend some family time together. They are open year around and offer free access I try to leave donation whenever we go. Lots of parking spaces and wasn't too crowded on a weekend. They do have a small step at the entrance on the outside, otherwise the place is stroller friendly on the inside. There are washrooms available for those with small kids. They have made some adjustments to accomodate social distancing - sectioned off the connecting pathways and streamlined the walkway into one continuous path; as well as put out floor stickers to separate groups. This is a great spot for learning about different flowers/plants. They have three main sections: flowers, tropical plants, and cacti/succulents. All sections have labels on the plants so it's an excellent learning opportunity. Overall, if you don't want to be tied to the mall as an indoor outing opportunity, this is a stellar alternative.
Beautiful garden with lots of different species on display. Cute little pond out front with 4 turtles and duckies. Very family friendly and a must visit if you live in Mississauga.
