Absolutey wonderful cute little place to go if you love Persian food like us. The food is delicious & the quantity of the food is very good. We loved the outside patio space. The staff at this place are so nice and kind. We would definitely go back and would also recommend this place to others.
The food, environment and service were perfect. Free soup as an appetizer was delicious. It has an outdoor area as well. I felt I am in Iran. Thank you the beautiful and kind women's team. Good luck
This place is operated by a Persian mother daughter duo and you definitely can taste the love in their food. Very warm welcome with a complimentary bowl of barley soup. The kebobs were delicious, juicy mad tender. Would definitely go again.
Service 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Food 10/10 Community 10/10 First impression of the place was clean, fresh, simple, and minimalistic with beautiful plants. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the mother-owner's genuine smile and she let us sit where we'd like as we came in around 5:30pm for an early dinner. The little details are what matters. The daughter-owner was our server and she was very attentive; checked in how we were feeling if we were too cold and would refill our pot of hot water without us realizing we needed a refill. We ordered one Vasiri and one Koobideh meal, and before our meals arrived, we were served with a comforting barley soup -brought out our appetites for sure. The last picture pretty much sums it up. What an incredible and delicious experience to dine here. Plus the warm community/neighborhood feel of the place and especially from the owners. I'll be bringing more of my friends and family to come here to eat. If you're looking for a sign...GO EAT HERE NOW!
Came in as a last minute thing and was surprised at how mouth-watering the lamb shank dish as well as the chicken/beef combo kebabs both served with rice. The interior is simple yet cozy. Satisfied.. thank you Recommended dishesLamb Shank with Baghla Polow, Barley Soup with Chicken Broth
Loved the service but the food is too expensive for the quality. I tried all the Persian food restaurants in metro Vancouver except this one, just because of the location being out of our way. Today my husband and I made time to go. From the beginning to end our server was amazing. I didn’t ask her name, she seemed to be new but she went above and beyond to make sure we are happy. She was super polite as well. We ordered vaziri and lamb shang and Ghormesabzi. The joojeh kabob was dry and koobideh was ok. Meat quality was good but texture and taste was ok. I had much better kebob for way cheaper. The lamb was tasty but the sauce was just too little for the dish, when I asked for more, kitchen sent this watery sauce that tasted like chicken like the diluted zereshkpolo with chicken juice not lamb shank sauce. We asked for some tahdig, they didn’t charge us for it but the tahdig was very bad. The Ghormesabzi was delicious. They cheap out on saffron big time. It was diluted and very little on top. The rice was ok not meeting my expectations at all at that price point. It might have been because of Covid and I understand businesses are barely making it. Overall won’t go back.
Great food and service. I have been coming only for take out so far but the servers are always nice and the food is great. I have only tried a few of their dishes but all has been delicious so far. Since I always get take out with them sometimes the kitchen is so nice and gives me extras like one more tomato which is always appreciated!! Will definitely be trying dine in soon! Highly recommended. Great food and staff.
Vegan Kebab!!! This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation. The atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The food is really good, with some amazing vegan Persian dishes. Their vegan kobide kebab is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will be back again. Shout out to the kitchen!!! You guys are rock!!
Ash is a traditional dish of our Iranians, which is made with vegetables, curd and chickpeas, and it is very delicious. This dish in this restaurant was both delicious and beautifully prepared, and we really enjoyed it. The kebabs were very tasty and healthy and we really enjoyed I highly recommend it
The restaurant is neat and clean. The owner and server were friendly and welcoming. I am very pleased with rice, mixed with barberries and saffron. The rice tasted soft and melting in the mouth with the herbal fragrance. The chicken was the highlight of the order, that was so well stewed and it was effortless to separate the mean from the bone. The barley soup was enriched because it’s made of chicken broth. I also drank the dough, which tasted natural and fresh. It also made the main not that heavy even though the main and the soup were oily. One star lost because of the parking.
