Almost no words. It was so good. Customer service top notch. We were treated really well. Can't remember when I have ever experienced such exceptional customer service. As for the food; the portions were huge and the quality or taste was almost perfect. The lamb was succulent and the rice was fluffy. It was the perfect place to take my date.
I didn’t have high expectations, but I was still excited to try this place because it was highly recommended by two of my friends. But the food fell short for me. One reason is simply because this cuisine is not my personal preference, but the other is definitely because the quality of meat here was not great. The koobideh had a weird aftertaste to it, although the texture was yummy. The crispy rice did not have enough stew to slightly soften the rock solid rice and I was fearful of chipping a tooth the whole time I was eating that. Service was decent and the atmosphere is passable, but I wouldn’t come back again.
I don’t think there is a way to make Persian food taste better. Just amazing taste and presentation. The staff are very friendly and nice. Thank you it was a delightful experience to eat at Cazba on Davie street
My mouth waters just thinking about this place. I've always loved their food. Have been going there for 3 years now whenever im in Vancouver and the quality is consistent. Service is excellent as well.
The Only reason I give 2 Stars is for the services we received from servers. they were really kind and helpful. We ordered Vaziri and Soltani, it was not even taste fair. we also didn't like the rice. Koobideh was smelling really bad. The portion except rice comparing with the prices were not reasonable. The unfortunate thing is we got Diarrhea in the afternoon right after we got home. I think because of lots of flies inside the restaurant. I don't usually write a negative review but if only i have to. Plus, it's really hot inside. I really don't recommend this place.
Not the right choice on a hot and muggy day. It was very warm inside. We had doogh, Persian tea, jujeh, and Salmon fish. The kebabs were ordinary The rice needed some stew or something with gravy, it is not possible to have dry rice with kebabs. The Persian tea was refreshing and so was the doogh. The staff get the stars for being very friendly.
Had high expectations after reading the recommendations, and reviews. I was disappointed after I tried, I’m not sure if it was what I ordered, I felt like the whole restaurant only offers bbq skewers, and nothing else, I just as hoping there are other options. Service was good, vibe was ok. Food is just average. I will try other Middle Eastern restaurants, but I don’t think I will come back to this one.
The food portion was good. However, the kabab meat was very hard to chew, dry and very spicy, covered with melted butter to make it eatable! I probably won’t visit them at future. Looks like the management is changed since last time I visited this place.
The food was really delicious! During our trip to Vancouver we ordered from them twice. But, unfortunately the second time, I found a stone in the middle of my Tahchin!!! I am happy that the stone did not break any of my teeth. But still annoying to find such things in the middle of the food:
Great restaurant with good food and customer service. We ordered the mini koobideh, ghemieh, mast-o-musir and their strawberry mojitos. We sat out on the patio, as it was warm in the restaurant. The food was delicious and freshly made.
