POLICE NEWS MAGAZINE This is a SCAM. It is NOT a real magazine. Back in December my employer rec'ed a fax asking for us to approve of "Advertising Proof". We sent a fax back and a letter advising this company we did NOT want this service. I Googled the company and found a warning from the Calgary Police Service advising this is a scam. I contacted the Edmonton Police Service and was told until I rec'ed an invoice demanding payment nothing could be done. Fast forward to January I rec'ed said invoice for $300+ and PROMPTLY called the EPS. The officer who responded said he would pay their office a visit and follow up with me. The officer cam back 2 days later and what he told me SHOCKED ME! He said that the man at the office LAUGHED at the officer and said that he wasn't the 1st cop to pay them a visit and wouldn't be the last. THE NERVE! The officer said the staff provided him with an audio recording of the owner of my company "agreeing" to advertise. However, the way they worded the questions it made it sound like agreeing to CONSIDER after rec'ing the "Advertising Proof", he was led to believe he could back out. This is a FOR PROFIT company. They DO NOT have any affiliation with the EPS. Do NOT agree to anything if these people call you, just hang up.

Recieved multiple calls from police news magazine. I googled them and found a connection to cedar publishing in edmonton with a contact number. Definite scammers. Google it up. They change namesand move around to keep going.
