Nice enough room, its big and clean BUT...no dresser? OMG where do we put our clothes? Two drawers. One full of pillows and one with blanket...and a circa 1985 clock radio. Things got worse on the second day. Painters working outside our room and on the balcony/walkway/stairs. The tv didn't work at all on the 2nd day and wasn't fixed until checkout. At checkout there was nobody to express our concerns to, except an overworked and over- stressed maid with an armload of bedding and ZERO interest in our concerns. Not worth saving a few bucks for this place.
Classic beach motel, exactly what I wanted when booking. A friend and I spent a night away from the city and enjoyed swimming in the pool and using the jacuzzi, and were so close to the beach and centre of Goderich for dinner and breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated Mary's kindness and her accommodating us so last minute.
This place was great! Clean and convenient and friendly service. I needed a traveller friendly clean motel that wouldn’t hurt my budget and this one was great while I stayed for a week last August during the Celtic Festival in Goderich. Thanks for the great service!
Mary was very pleasant and greeted us with a smile. Explained the basics of services available to us. Made us aware that if we needed anything to come to the office or call. Mary was overall friendly from start to leaving !
Great friendly staff with good facilities including a pool. Very conveniently located just off the square within short walking distance. At the price it's a steal
