Took my wife out for a fish fry last night. Loved it! The fish was tasty and served quickly. My wife had a home made brandy old fashioned, she loved it. Prices were reasonable. We'll be back for sure.

We stopped in to grab a carry out Friday fish fry and get a drink at the bar while we wait. The bar tender ignored us at first, then finally got us a drink and when we said we'd like to order carry out she said "I'll be right back." I thought she was going to get us menus, but she returned and sheepishly said it was an hour and a half wait!!!!! What?!?!? Now we're sitting here with a drink and had to drive elsewhere to get a fish fry. Honestly they didn't want our business. She didn't even bring menus or try to take our order. We've gotten fish frys here before and were disappointed. After this I'm never going back. Overpriced. Small portions. Long wait. Really Crappy Service.

My wife, Nancy, and I went to the Cedar Beach Inn fish Fry on 5-19-17. We live in Romeo, Michigan and came across the Lake on the S.S. Badger. Nancy and her family used to live nearby on Cedar Beach Lane and she wanted very much to eat at the inn because her parents used to go there back in the 50's. Sara was kind enough to come to our table and greet us, and shared a little of the more recent history of my wife's childhood home. She told us, to my wife's dismay, that the original home had been torn down and a new, more modern house had been built. However, our fish fry was amazing and we were seated by a window looking out on the picnic area where my wife used to play with her little brother. Good memories! Thank you, Sara!
