Idk what I was expecting from this place, but I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! The food was above average for a bar setting. Atmosphere was very much bar duh . And it’s quite a cozy place! Lots of different kinds of people, if you like to people watch . Pool tables in the back left corner. There’s a year round area in the backyard. Menu was decent. Definitely a jumping place any day of the week! Best part is that food doesn’t stop until 12:30-1:30 they said it depends.. idk ‍
Wanted to come here cause The Replacements hung out here! Very cool divey spot. A part of music history! Everyone was nice enough and the beer is relatively cheap!
The CC Club in Minneapolis is a long-standing dive bar with a rich history of dollar beers and smoky atmosphere. Despite the passage of time, not much has changed at this local haunt, and the smoke and sounds of pool still linger. If you're looking for a classic dive bar experience, the CC Club is a must-visit. The bar is perfect for a quick drink, and if you're feeling adventurous, you can try their hot dog, which is said to be a bit of a challenge to the stomach. So, if you're in the mood for a trip down memory lane and a classic dive bar experience, stop by the CC Club and enjoy a cold beer, some pool, and a smoky atmosphere.
Came in on a Sunday morning and ordered a mushroom swiss burger. The burger was very juicy and good. I didn't expect it to taste so good but it was better than my usual juicy juicy at Matt's. There was a lady cook this time but the other cooks are good too. Definitely a dive bar but with stiff drinks and good food
Gotta love CC Club, just be sure to ask how different people play pool. It is seriously a different culture depending on who you play with. But very fun! Will be back soon! Haha. Lost a star because the bar fries were very dry, but a heaping portion! Good drinks!
I heart the CC Club. Decor probably hasn't changed in 40 years and it still smells like when people could smoke inside a bar. Dive bar at its finest. Unpretentious, low brow and everyman perfection!
It's a trendy dive bar. Lots of tap options with craft beers. They do offer some drink specials. They have a Touch Tunes. Service can be hit and miss.
This was my first experience at the CC Club and I was definitely impressed. I ordered takeout over the phone, it was super easy. My food was ready in about 15 minutes. I was helped promptly when I arrived for pickup by Mike. Mike was very friendly and had a good sense of humor, exactly the kind of interaction I needed after a long and hectic day at work. I ordered two CC Coney Dogs and the Tater Tots appetizer. All of which were delicious. The dogs were pretty much impossible to eat with our hands, so that's how you know they were really good! The dogs came with kettle chips and a couple pickle chips. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be going back.
Best dive bar I've been to. We went there specifically because I'm a huge fan of The Replacements and this place is legendary among fans. It didn't disappoint. Our server was a fan too which made conversation a lot better. For a dive, the food is solid and the place was clean. Great all around.
Great neighborhood bar with storied rock history. This is a great bar. Good selection of local beers on tap. Outstanding bartenders and staff. Great jukebox with rock classics and some surprises thrown in. CC has a great vibe. We walked in for our first time and it felt like “our bar.” We will be back when we are in town. This was a bar where members of The Replacements, Soul Asylum, The Suburbs and other bands from that era would hang out. Interviews were conducted here. Record deals were made. This great low-key bar is a living slice of rock history.
