First lobster dinner I've ever had and the Cavendish Lobster Shack did not disappoint. Lovely staff and service! Served with Local craft beer and Mussels! Super delicious.
I’m still dreaming about this lobster roll! So filling, and every bite was fresh. Not pictured were the fries which as another review said, were exactly like Costco fries YUM!!!!. I wish we could eat here every day of our East Coast trip.
Cavendish Lobster Shack is what East coast travel dreams are made of. You always hear about East coast hospitality, but we didn’t experience it from any other establishment or local until we walked into this restaurant. The staff are beyond accommodating and attentive. We felt so welcomed and cared for! We got a lobster roll and the seafood chowder. -The lobster roll was great! Lots of lobster meat and the bread was perfectly toasted. The French fries are like Costco fries and if you know Costco fries then you know it was hecking good. -The seafood chowder was the best we have ever tasted though it can be ‘heavy’ for those sensitive to salt/cream. It was SO good we ordered a second bowl even though we were already stuffed. I also LOVED their bread roll; it was a sweet bread that was deadly delicious when dipped into the chowder. We compare every lobster/seafood meal we have on our East coast trip to the Cavendish Lobster Shack and nothing measures up. We’ll definitely be coming back to Cavendish if not for the beaches then just for this place.
We had a great experience at the Lobster Shack. Service was friendly and quick. The food was really good. The Seafood Chowder was very tasty. The Lobster roll was a good size..good flavor..perfectly toasted bun and the fries were better than most places. Portion sizes were appropriate for the price.We were all happy with our meal and we will return.
Heart of the fun filled tourist destination! This resto knows what PEI is about, delicious food and friendly & excellent service, the nautical ambiance is cozy too! Adam our server is the best! You gotta have the steamed lobster meal with PEI mussels. The best! We sure will be back again!
This place is super busy and they only had 2 servers.. but these guys were amazing had a smile on their face and they did their best... our server adam #95 was amazing food was really good price was really good... we had muscles 10.99$ and it was huge bucket and and the lobster roll was amazing and the chowder best I have had on this road trip across east coast. And the fish and chips was so good... overall I was impressed with the food... sorry I ate most of the food b4 taking pictures lol
The Lobsters were awsome, beautiful, and most delicious ever eaten. It was so amazing taste ever I had experienced.
Drove a long way to get there for dinner but got refused to get in because they are preparing for a bus tour coming. Watch out, You may not getting seat even having lots of seats available
Dined here with my family, a party of 6. We got the baked and steamed lobster, seafood chowder soup, lobster poutine and lobster roll! The baked and steamed lobster came with mussels, a side salad and corn. The mussels were so good! The seafood chowder was delicious! Totally would recommend this restaurant. I would definitely come back in a heart beat!
The staff hustle and do their best to deal with the extreme demand during the tourist season. The food is hearty and good. Don't expect a Michelin star restaurant but the name says it all "Lobster Shack." I would go back for sure. Nice people.
