I started bringing my daughter here in November and I have to say it’s been one of the best places/experiences hands down. The coaches take their time to explain things to the kids if they don’t understand it, they’ll try other means to explain it. My daughter is very high energy and professor Andrew and Ashley are great with her and very understanding.nnThe cleanliness is the best I’ve seen in a facility, along with friendly staff and peers! Love the energy here! My kids attend the Little Ninjas 4 yr old and Youth BJJ 7 yr old classes at the Keswick location. Twice a week.nWe adore the coaches here - they are very helpful, encouraging and patient. Wishing the Cavalo family many years of success.nSpecial thanks to coach Ashely, Victor and Professor Andrew!! You guys are awesome!
We have been at Cavalo since the spring. We appreciate how clean the facility is, the friendly & knowledgeable staff, the variety of teachers & different teaching styles, and the personal support and encouragement.nnI started BJJ at 42years old. I was not athletic at all, so it was a pretty big deal to show-up. I've really enjoyed the attitudes & skill of the other women athletes, as well as the encouragement from the guys.nnI'm super pleased to have such a healthy place for my teen boys to learn a physical sport. They are directly & indirectly being mentored by everyone there. It's exactly what young people need for learning to move their bodies, face challenges, and learn new skills.nnThere is a lot of communication in the sport, as it's all partner-work. My overall outlook is significantly more positive. Gratitude!
Let me start with the cost, as a family of 5 this gym is more affordable than most we all train! We love that classes are unlimited, giving great flexibility to a busy family schedule.nnThe gym is clean, bright and friendly, you become family the instant you walk through the doors. They provide a safe space for everyone.nnThe coaches are some of the best athletes in the sport.
The Crosskick classes are an amazing workout, would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try something new or try something different, it really is for ALL fitness levels. The adult Jijitsu classes are great too, everyone is so encouraging and helpful. Being new to Jijitsu and it being way outside my comfort zone, I've never been made to feel uncomfortable, I actually feel very comfortable coming to class. Cavalo is like a 2nd home. I look forward to going to classes. My son signed up first and from the moment he started, it felt like family. All the instructors at Cavalo are amazing. The are very encouraging and motivating. We are so lucky to have Cavalo in Georgina.
