No catch 21 to catch 35. Delicious fresh and flavorful fish, perfect serving size. Variety of items on the menu from sea food, steak, to stir fries. The complimentary break and vegetable sides are excellent! Friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bonus for nice and clean restrooms
My wife and I tried this local seafood place for dinner during the summer this year. The inside had a calm modern type feeling to it. The menu was simple yet effective. Sometimes places have menus that take 30 minutes to read, so the simple menu was nice. Our server was very friendly and constantly asked if we needed anything. We tried the sampler plate along with the calamari appetizer. Fish on the sampler plate was very crispy and not soaked on grease. The calamari cam with a kebab of tofu and vegetables. I've never been a fan of tofu until I tried it here..... the tofu had a almost like chicken density and was firm. The tartar sauce was different in a good way, hard to explain but just different from all other tartars. Overall very glad we went. Try the TOFU and you will be shocked! Cheers!
Their location is very convenient around Downtown Naperville, IL. The bread served was delicious. The quality if service is wonderful!! We ordered salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, for us it was okay. For our entree, we ordered their shareable seafood platter with lobster. Add a side if their cilantro fried rice. It was amazing! The butter sauce and lemon was heaven! For us who enjoy travelling, they have the most amazing restroom! Very clean and cozy! We will definitely go back!
Amazing waiter. Amazing food and service! The food came out right when we got done with our appetizer. Tasted great. I got the short ribs, hubbs got the swordfish and we got a complimentary dessert for celebrating our special day. I will definitely go back again.
We had a nice Easter dinner here but found the food portions were tiny, especially when considering the cost. Most of the main dishes were delicious but the Yellowfin Tuna Steak was cold in the middle. I would recommend the Calamari, Braised beef, Prince Edward Mussels, and Smoked Shrimp Pasta. They had no draft beers, only bottles. The Old-Fashioned was one of the worst tasting we’ve had. However, I will say our waitress was so lovely and accommodating. We likely wouldn’t eat here again, but it was nice to try. Great location and close to multiple parking areas.
Joe welcomed us like we were old friends, helped us find just the right wine and served the best food! We started with calamari- tender, crisp, flavorful with great sauces. Oysters- fresh, chilled, pretty with a side of all things to make them even better. A wedge salad that was fantastic! Chilled plate, crisp wedge with blue cheese, bacon, egg, tomatoes and the best best blue cheese dressing. East coast haddock was perfect! Light, crispy, flavorful. Loved the Brussel sprouts with a light sauce. Such a fun night. Felt like visiting a friend! Only thing missing with the famous chips!
This was our first time here. The restaurant was very beautiful. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our waitress was very personable, had a smile and informative of the menu. I had a couple questions and she had an answer. It's pricey but worth every penny. The food and drinks were amazing. The only thing I didn't like was the gumbo. It was not true gumbo, mostly just like a creamy base soup, we had one tiny shrimp in it the rest was just soup. Other then that the food was amazing. The drinks were delish and so sad the dessert. You will leave full and happy, but it is expensive. In my opinion we'll worth it. #catch35
This restaurant never disappoints; perfect for special occasions. Carefully chosen delicacies and consistent fine taste. Ambience is open yet moderate noise, spaced out seating. Beer could have been colder, but including polite and respectful server everything was fantastic as expected.
We wanted to celebrate a small win and went to catch 35 to celebrate. This was our first time and we have heard all good things about this place. We started off with the drinks which were the old-fashioned and orange bliss. The old-fashioned seemed too strong at first but was better after a few sips. For the appetizers, we had the shrimp bisque, a smoked shrimp appetizer which was something recommended by our waitress. The shrimp bisque had very less flavor and I had to add some salt to enhance the flavor. The shrimp was quite good. For the main course, we had the catch 35 mixed grills which included salmon, shrimp, and lobster. I liked the freshness but had to add in salt to everything to be able to eat Wifey had the lake superior whitefish with a side of ramen noodle stir fry which sounded an interesting combination. unfortunately, the ramen side tasted better than the fish. We were not satisfied hence we didn't order the desserts. I will say that the food was very fresh but  lacked flavor .
Food was okay. The salmon was lacking flavor. Soup was delicious though. Drinks were nice and strong. Slightly disappointed that I paid $30+ for bland salmon.
