I ordered last minute through Urber Eat. It came nice and hot. I saw the review said that it wasn't enough cheese filling but mine has lot. I wouldn't need more than it is as I might be greasy. Strawberry yogurt shake was great. Its sour taste complement its creamy cheese tart so well.
Cheese tart was so delicious. It is bit pricey but worth it to try ! And it is easy to break into pieces so you gotta be careful when you take it home.
Tried the combo A and the tart was very warm and cheesy which was good but it might not be good for someone who doesn’t like cheesy stuff. Also the strawberry drink tasted greek yogurt with strawberries and I liked it
We only came here to try their cheese tarts. We're big fans of cheese tarts so we want to try those first before trying their other baked goods. The tarts come in cute packaging, which is nice if you intend to give these away. Other than that though, we found the tarts just alright. The crust is more like a short crust pastry type. They crumble nicely when you eat it but I find there's too much crust to cheesecake ratio. I recommend either you eat them straight away or the next night. The crust do get a lot softer on the third night, which isn't surprising cuz of the type of crust it is. When it comes to cheese tarts alone, Bake 49 in yaletown is still our favorite place to go to in town.
We were planning to order some for our Thanksgiving Dinner.. First the store wasn’t open at the designated time. When we went back, we observe the cashier is the baker, etc.. The person behind the counter was wearing gloves but she also used her gloves hand to handle the cash.. We decided not to purchase due to the sanitary issues we have.
Visited the Metrotown store to try out their tarts and they did not disappoint. The tart has a cheesy taste and it literally melts in your mouth. The crust is buttery and it crumbles quickly as soon as you bite it. It is nice to eat it warm but if you are bringing it home, pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds to bring it back to a nice temperature. They sell it for $18 / 6 pc which I feel is a bit pricey. Looking forward to trying out the cheese cake!
I’ll rate this the best cheese tarts that I like in town! Very different from others as not as sweet, which I LOVE! The items are great for a good picnic under cherry blossom with a good cuppa matcha or coffee on a sunny day! Definitely appreciate to be shared among friends or family! Counter staffs were ok, like any other stores. What else to expect from them besides getting my orders ASAP since it’s a takeout counter?
Received still frozen croissants... I was so excited to try this and eat it as snack on the go, but I couldn't eat it as the middle was quite icy and frozen.
20$ for 6 cheese tarts, I noticed the change in price over time, but they are right next to baked cheese sellers like Saint Germaine Bakery and Superstore, walking distance from TNT and Uncle Tetsu. This better be best cheese tarts out of all of them or I would not give a star more than 3. The answer was no. I liked Saint Germaine’s cheese tarts better because they were less oily in the crust and in the cheese and more milky even though their size is smaller. I don’t like how the tarts are put out in the cold with no seal to protect them from germs. Last but not least, I like the Costco tiramisu better than the tiramisu here. What is good about their dessert? Their packaging looks nice. The tiramisu came in a very nice compact box. What is good about this location? Very few people come here, generally no line up.
My first time trying the cheese tart. It’s so good and the tart shell is more than good! Will definitely come back for cheese tarts and other products. Service is good too!!
