Casselodge Bed & Breakfast

Nicole and François are amazing hosts as they greet us with a warm smile and hospitality! This place is so beautiful, cozy and relaxing. The house is charming and well decorated, and the rooms are superb, large, and clean. Lots of animals on site to enjoy and watch. A calm and wonderful place to enjoy with family, friends or as a couple for a nice romantic getaway! I totally recommend it! 💖 I will come again soon!

The second year in a row that we've been there and will be going back for years to come. Great atmosphere, great people and great animals. Every morning starts with homemade yogurt which is worth the trip itself. Followed by the most magnificent breakfast while making new friends with all the household guests. The day can be spent relaxing by either the upper pond or the lower pond that is fed from the upper pond by a waterfall stream, canoeing along the Castor River, or hanging out with all of the many animals, including horses, mini horses, donkeys, alpacas, goats, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats, frogs and even bees. The evening can spent cooking dinner on a charcoal bbq or just enjoying the outdoor firepit with all the new friends you've made.

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon. It was a beautiful log home built by the François around an old log home. The property is rural and on a fairly large property, making for a quiet and private stay. There were also farm animals that you can look at. The hosts were very welcoming. The room was wonderful, and had an antique charm, a balcony, and an ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was amazing. We had crepes, sausage, eggs, fruit and yogurt, homemade bread and jams, and banana chocolate chip muffins. There was even cereal as another option. We will be back when we are in the area again, and would highly recommend Casselodge.
