Casse-Croûte Chez Michelle

An institution and a must go in Ville de la Baie. Good food for a pit stop. Always served with a smile and some music. Everyone there works hard to make your visit a memorable one. The prices are more than fair and the portions are generous.

Came from Montreal to experience this little gem. Did not disappoint. Wishing you another 80 years of business success.

We spontaneously stopped @Michelle's Diner. He was super friendly and the meals were delicious : Furthermore, he was able to explain everything for us in english - it was really helpful : thanks for your warm und friendly welcome.

Absolutely incredible staff, excellent food, will be stopping by whenever I'm in La Baie.

The food was good - definitely a strong poutine game, but a little underwhelming for having been named ‘best casse-croute in Quebec’. The pogo was literally just a pogo-brand pogo, which we were surprised/disappointed about. I suspect this place’s strong reputation is at least as much due to the lovely family running it and creating an engaging experience as soon as you walk in the door.
