Inauguré le 24 juin 1994, le Casino de Charlevoix a été aménagé dans l'ancien théâtre d'été du Manoir Richelieu, sur la falaise de Pointe-au-Pic, un site panoramique fréquenté depuis plus d'un siècle par les vacanciers.
Le Casino de Charlevoix est rapidement devenu un véritable moteur économique pour la région, dont il constitue un attrait touristique incontournable.
En 1998, Loto-Québec s'associe à la société Canadien Pacifique et au Fonds de solidarité FTQ pour faire l'acquisition du Manoir Richelieu (Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu), le rénover et agrandir le Casino de Charlevoix.
À sa réouverture en juin 1999, le complexe constitue un centre de villégiature de calibre international. Le Casino de Charlevoix devient ainsi le premier casino à être jumelé à un établissement hôtelier.
En 2009, le Casino a souligné son 15e anniversaire avec plusieurs activités, dans ses locaux agrandis.
Le Casino de Charlevoix offre une vingtaine de tables dont 7 tables de poker Texas Hold'em avec croupiers, plus de 900 machines à sous, deux bars et une vue panoramique sur le fleuve Saint-Laurent.

Inaugurated on June 24, 1994, the Casino de Charlevoix was established in the Manoir Richelieu's former summer playhouse on the cliffs of Pointe-au-Pic, a panoramic site visited by vacationers for over a century.
The Casino de Charlevoix quickly became a veritable economic driver for the region and one of Charlevoix's biggest attractions.
In 1998, Loto-Québec teamed up with Canadian Pacific Hotels and the Solidarity Fund QFL to acquire Manoir Richelieu (now called Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu), renovate it and expand the Casino de Charlevoix.
Reopening in June 1999, the complex has since become a world-class resort. The Casino de Charlevoix also became the first of Québec's casinos to be linked to a hotel.
In 2009, the Casino celebrated its 15th anniversary in its newly expanded facilities.
The Casino de Charlevoix houses more than 900 slot machines and some 20 gaming tables, including 7 traditional poker tables, 950 slot machines, two bars and a scenic view of the Saint Lawrence River.
