They sell children's shoes but there is no bench to try them on so your kid has to sit on the floor. The shoes are all strapped together permanently at the heel so your kid either tries one on and walks with the second shoe flopping around until they trip, or, they put both on and fall directly on their face. Great system! The shoe selection is a bit weak and the boys shoes weighed a ton with super thick, dense rubber soles. In short, they should stop selling shoes because the experience is immediately infuriating.
The store itself is great. It has lots of sales and good deals. It is clean and pretty well organised. The staff are always helpful and friendly. My concern is with Carter’s itself. I find it really frustrating that clothes are so stereotypical. I always end up shopping in the “boy section” for shirts about space or dinosaurs which she loves but all of the shirts on the “girl” side are about unicorns and love and rainbows. I feel like in 2018 this should have changed by now.
I am very disappointed with the service at Carter/Osh Kosh in Okotoks. We went in to get winter boots for my daughter. Not one person acknowledged us as we walked in. I made eye contact with the employees a few times. They even walked by and didn’t ask if we needed assistance. I walk up to a lady for help and she turned and walked away. Some other people walked into the store and they were acknowledged. That’s is so frustrating. Finally my husband walked up to a lady on the sales floor, who was having a personal conversation with the other 2 ladies standing behind the till. He said excuse me, she ignored him and kept talking. He then said excuse me again and was given a not very nice look. We got the boots we needed and walked up to the till. The ladies all walked away and I stood there for another 2 mins before being acknowledged. I am not sure why we were given such poor customer service and they were so nice to everyone else. When I worked in customer service, I would never treat customers like that. I think there needs to be better customer service training.

Such a fantastic place to buy kids clothing, something is always on sale.
Great prices and great styles. My only complaint is the quantity. Not enough different sizes to choose from, even when you ask the sales associate to check other stores.
Very nice staff, love the Veteran's discount. My go to shop for kid's clothes.
I don't like to have to climb a ladder to look at clothes. I doubt many of the customers are 7 feet tall and can easily reach some of the displays
Always good sales here, better sales in this store than online! Friendly staff too. I wish they had shopping baskets tho :
