Carter-Jones Collection Service Inc

FACTS: So I owe a debt, and this is an attempt to resolve a debt. I contacted Carter-Jones with my attempt, and we both acknoledged that I owe a debt. I was given a near accurate number, and I did not dispute. ISSUE: In order to pay my debt in full, I need a "LETTER" explaining that the account has been paid and satisified IN FULL. I mentioned that I would like for the debt to be wiped from my three credit reports (this is something that debt collectors have done for me). CARTER-JONES' RULES & PRACTICES: Carter-Jones does not remove debts from credit reports, nor do they provide documentation (such as a letter) indicating that a debt has been paid in full, they simply take the money and do nothing. I ask why it is their policy to leave the knife in the back of the person with debt, and I was told "we are a small family owned business". QUESTIONS: Why should anyone whose credit reports have been destroyed because of circumstances beyond one's control even have a mere undertone of motivation to resolve a debt, when it's the debt collector's policy to leave the knife in the back of the person with the debt and not even acknowledge the payment? MY CONCLUSION: Since Carter-Jones does not pro-actively report to the credit bureaus that the debt has been satisfied in full, I would need a letter so as to provide it myself, but they won't even write that simple letter. If Carter-Jones wants to help me by simply writing a letter, with a letterhead indicating payment, they would get a few more stars. If they also wiped the debt off my credit bureaus, I would actually give them five. If I were a debt collector, that would be my first policy, because it's part of the incentive to pay the debt, especially knowing that so many other debt collection business do the same. But since Carter-Jones is comprised of idiots in cubicles 500 miles away, they will not be in the business of collecting a debt, they will continue to be in the business of punishing by not acknowledging payment and leaving the knife in the back of the person who owes the debt, because they want the person to continue to suffer the consequences of having the debt. Companies who refuse to take that simple step are preventing individuals from being able to qualify to rent housing. That is not how a business should be run.

Hahaha. Okay so there are a bunch of fat chicks in there who have the place freezing because the air can't get passed the blubber. They tell you to fill out a paper and put anyone in your home. The paper says anyone you are married to and children or dependants. So they are trying to have you put down roommates incomes and ssn numbers so they can count their income which is illegal. That place is so crooked!!!
