I've found the food to be greatly improved lately. We all ordered different things. The wraps were good, but a bit soggy unless you asked to have them pressed on the grill. I found the Mac and cheese to be slightly dried out. The wait staff is great and the atmosphere of the place is cozy and fun. They also have Keno. I have since tried again and I recommend the burgers and perch sandwich. The brisket green beans are great. Really good fries and tater tots.
They dropped off food early with no warmers. They said they would be back with what warmers they had available but we would have to find the heating candles, ok we will work with it..... He never came back. Several people called with no answer. If you are in the restaurant or catering business you should know you can not leave pork or chicken sitting out at temperatures less than 140° for no more than 2hrs!
If this restaurant had not been located next door the hotel we were at, I would probably give it a lower rating. I love me some brisket, so I got the brisket sandwich. The brisket was dry and tough and flavorless. It was inedible. My wife got a chicken flatbread. It was fine. Where they really shined was the desserts. If we could go back again we would just get the desserts. Those funnel cake fries and s'mores sundae were top notch. I can't say the same for anything else we had.
A bit pricey like buffalo wild wings. My daughter & I had good service today from a nice young lady. She was prompt & attentive which I'm happy to finally experience at Carmies. The food was yummy as usual. I had decaf coffee, a starter of fried pickles w/horseradish based sauce, margarita flatbread, and a cup of French onion soup. Fried pickles were abundant & flavorful without being too salty. The sauce was a nice contrast. The flatbread could have benefited from the classic margarita topping - fresh basil- as it was on the blander side without it. All the toppings were fresh & good. Would have been over the top yummy with a balsamic reduction drizzle like I've had at other places! The soup was as yummy if a little heavy on the butter this time. But always my favorite there! I'd visit more than a few times a year if the prices were a bit lower. We always enjoy our visits though!!
This is not brisket….not even close…I asked for moist, wet, fatty brisket and I got this instead…I couldn’t even finish it because it was so bad..I even tried dipping it in ketchup and the “ bbq sauce” they had…nope….the tater tots were good though
We LOVE coming here! Family friendly place and delicious food for everyone...no matter how picky! This was for the Easter buffet and the food was fresh and hot. Thank you for the wonderful time!
Good service from the staff. No complaints from my party of six in town staying at the hotel next door. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu Parking: Plenty of parking available
Sitting here now, the most disgusting BBQ I have ever seen. Cold and rubber like. I did not eat it. Could not have fries because they were worried they would run out for Fish and fry night. They should take BBQ of the sign, garbage. Service was good Beer was cold. I would give them a Zero.
I wish i could give the servers a better review they are awesome!Food: 5/5
