I’m not a fan of Mexican food because what I had so far is too plain, but this place actually made me change my mind. Mexican food served here is very good. It made me think the Mexican food I’ve tried in the past is not authentic. The decor and the background music in store also enhance the atmosphere and the mood to eat, at least for me. Staff are very friendly. The food is good, except for the platonitos. Maybe it’s just me but the banana and the condensed milk didn’t go well with each other.
It was my first time here, but my friends always raved about this place. This is a Mexican and Salvadorian restaurant, so it’s a mixture of both cuisines, which is nice. Got the essentials, ceviche, guacamole and tacos. Wow, the tortillas here are amazing. So fresh and tasty, probably one of the best I’ve had here in the city. The carnitas taco was very delicious! They also have really good in house hot sauces, which I recommend if you like an extra kick. I definitely want to come back and try other items off the menu. Service is also very good.
Absolutely Delicious + very authentic feel and taste! After a long day of photo shoots who knew they’d make you so hungry! we stopped in here for an early dinner. Everything looked amazing and a huge bonus for most of the options available with corn tortillas. The service was amazing .. attentive, pleasant and overall a great experience. The ceviche was fresh we had the mix of fish and shrimp, the guacamole was SO good and we were also as impressed with the quesadillas and tacos. We will definitely revisit this spot and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!
Wow! Amazing food! So fresh, great service, just wow! I ordered the steak and sea bass, both came with rice and salad and 2 fresh hot tortillas. I also ordered the cheese and beef pupusas and as you can tell by the photo, they were too good and fresh to wait till we got home to eat them haha. Can’t wait to come back and eat in the restaurant!
The staff was extremely friendly and they do try to give you an authentic mexican experience, which needs to be applauded. However, i felt certain lack of taste. Most of the food was very bland. We ordered papusas bean n cheese and chicken, tamales veggies and tacos. The best was the fish n tounge tacos. Something was lacking in the food.
We went for the first time this sat July 9th. It has indoor dining and patio. The food was really good & authentic. It is Mexican/Salvadoran cuisine, so don't be shocked if there's a few different spices.. Regardless .. food was great!!! I also was amazed by the customer service, they kept making sure we were happy with our order. We got tortilla soup, pozole, pupusas & micheladas. It was all great oh and look at those cute little pots they give as bowls for the soup
It always feels great to find affordable and authentic spots in Toronto! The ambiance and service inside was great and the food was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend if you get hungry while in the area!
Forgot to take a picture because it was so good! The pupusa is so good! I had pork and cheese and bean and cheese. The Tamale was also amazing and huge. Had one pork taco no complaints it was good. Mango margarita was delicious. Service was 10/10 super kind staff.
I loved the place, perfect food with traditional flavors. The staff was so friendly and offered us an excellent customer service. The mango margaritas were the perfect combination with our dinner outside in the patio ! Definitely I’ll go back.
Had an absolutely fantastic experience at this small family restaurant for dinner. The food was amazing, service kind and prompt. Everything from the apps to the mains were on point. Also the hot sauce they make is amazing be sure to ask for it! You will not be disappointed.
