I don't got there yet but so far so good! My friend and I went last Sunday to look around and see the buildings our classes will be in. Someone in Alumni Hall printed us a map and showed us on the map how to get around. It was really helpful. Can't wait to keep exploring and I can't wait to attend in sept :)

Awesome place to be at. Good teaching and administration staff. Interconnected building tunnels. Gym. Great Library. Train and Bus availability.

Good accommodation while staying in Ottawa. Pros: The single dorm rooms are spacious, clean and new. Sink right in the room as well which is very convenient and a bathroom shared between two suites. All you can eat at the dining all for dinner for just $16.00. Easy to get downtown on the number 7 bus and the fitness center is right across the street if you want to get a day pass. Good and helpful check-in staff too. Cons: It is far from the center of town if you want to go out late at night and the buses are not running 24 hours here and most of the food vendors are closed in the summer or have drastically reduced hours. The available coffee shops do not open until 7 or 7:00 am if you have an early morning. On the weekends, they do not open until 9:00 am, which sucks if you are up earlier and need a coffee. The only thing to do is buy breakfast which means you end up paying about $16.00 for a cup of vending machine coffee. And, you cannot take any out. The worst is the AC. They have it turned up so high you literally freeze. Sitting in the room, I had to wear a hoodie and my fingers and bare feet would literally freeze from the cold air when sitting at the desk on my laptop. If you are just in town for a couple of days, this place is ok. If you are in Ottawa longer term , it gets really expensive and it will run about $331.00 a week for a single traditional dorm room with a shared bathroom. You could probably rent a furnished suite downtown for that price.

Beautiful campus all year round. Enjoyed my four years here.

I would give this university 0 stars if I could. I tried asking the TA's and prof a question and they immediately dismissed my claims and behave very rudely towards me. On top of that, their marking is sloppy and do not pay attention to what they grade. Extremely sloppy institution.
