It has taken over 2 years now for full extractions,in order to get dentures.I have Medicare Disregard the ridiculous amount of time it is taking and know that Dr. Mehri is rough,rude and non-compassionate. I am petrified as he works on me. He does not numb the areas where the needle is inserted, before the novocaine injections. He even raised his voice at me when pain made me react by moving my arm and it brushed him, telling me "don't touch me!" A nightmare. I have an appointment tomorrow to have a final tooth extraction. This is a tooth he completely missed. The dental assistants found it on my last visit,which was supposed to be the start of fittings for dentures. They spotted it on X-ray. There is no pain med or gas available here. I highly recommend you see any other dentist than Dr. Merhi at the Carleton office.
I normally go to the Monroe office, but at the end of October, I needed to be seen right away and Sandhya Jains had an opening same day. She was rude and uncompassionate the entire time. Instead of asking, "How can I help you?" she said, "So what do you want from me?" I had to ARGUE for additional testing to be done. I finally 'won' when I asked, "If my insurance will pay for it, what's the big deal in ordering additional bloodwork?" Her response: "Don't come complaining to us if you end up having to pay for part of it." She wanted to refer me to a Neurologist, despite a clean CT scan and a family history and other personal details that would indicate I should see an ENT. Side note: I got the ENT referral and am healing wonderfully!
Just like many other's in the Monroe County area, this place is a joke, Robert Steckmeyer needs a different job, the condition I have in my back, that he's aware of, has done very little to make me more comfortable until we can figure out what is actually going on.... I can't wait to get rid of this place. Really good place to go to get the run around!!! 0 stars....
NP Stephen Markham is very unprofessional. He doesn't listen to the issues his patients are having and he's unable to handle stressful conversations. During my second visit, he walked out of the room in the middle of the appointment and told me to "find a new doctor" I was completely surprised. I had to go get the receptionist to find him and bring him back to the room I was in. He then gave me a referral to another doctor on site and sent me on my way. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!
Other than Dr. South the 2 doctors I have had communication with have had no respect for their patients and no bedside manner. They will ask you a question than cut you off right in the middle of your answer. How do you listen to what is going on with your patient if you don’t wait for the answers to your questions? Absolutely ridiculous. Didn’t feel comfortable at all.
If there was a zero rating, I would give that. I waited 5 days with badly infected tooth to get to my already scheduled appointment for them to cancel because their “tooth puller” called off! Are you kidding? There is nobody there qualified to pull a tooth? Then they tell me that I have to wait a month to get in to have it pulled!! I’ll be dead within a few days from the infection. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL!!!
This place is amazing, they always get you in for emergency appointments, the staff text and doctors are all caring compassionate and go beyond any doctor I have seen in the last 20 years. If you read the bad reviews most of them don't make sense, have unreal expectations or didn't ask / give the appropriate information to the staff. This place is a gem hidden under an undeserving bad review stat
My wife was in extreme pain and her exam merely resulted in another appt. 6 weeks away + RX antibiotics for a simple extraction! FMC never does anything on the first visit, just another appointment. Everything requires multiple visits. Maybe their visiting "extraction" dentist wasn't available. I'm not sure why their staff dentists didn't do the two extractions I've had there...both times I saw a new face, just visiting to do my extraction. My wife was told BP was too high and if it didn't lower, she'd have to go to a specialist. I was told the same thing on almost every visit. The fees are based on income so each extraction and each cleaning was $40 since I didn't have insurance. UPDATE: We went elsewhere and in less than a week, her tooth was able to be saved. It cost a great deal more but happy wife, happy life.
Scheduled an appointment because I've had a fever for two months straight, tested covid negative, and they still refused to see me. I asked them how I was supposed to get help and medical care and they told me they don't know how to help me. Good job medical unprofessionals.
Dr. Sharon is the best doctor I've ever had. She is great, always takes the time to listen and that is very important to me. UNFORTUNATELY, such a great doctor has the most unprofessional, untrained, incompetent staff I have ever seen. I recently asked a staff member if I was a priority at this facility after a hospital visit and I was told NO!!! And that i had to wait over 2 weeks to be seen regardless. Then I was told I was rude??? After being a patient for so long and as much as I hate to say it, because she is such a wonderful doctor, I think I will have to go elsewhere to be treated with dignity and respect
