Cariboo Place Campsite

This is a nice little park. It is right off the highway so very convenient. It is quiet and a hidden gem. We were there on the long weekend and it was occupied mostly by travellers looking for a one night stay on their road trips. The wifi was good and it was tidy and had plenty of room for our larger fifth wheel and for a larger fifth wheel that was also in the park.

Great spot for a night. Clean bathrooms, lots of space, free wifi, and great sites for all travelers. Will stay again, 30.00 Canadian for night with 15 Amp and water, free dump site for those who stay the night as well. Thumbs up!

What a hidden little gem. We were there and there was only 2 other trailers. The spots are nice and big. The facilities are very clean. Owners are very nice. It was so tranquil in the trees. Yes there is road noise but we didn't care, slept like a baby all night. Highly recommended.

We liked our stay at Cariboo Place campsite. Would be a great place for a longer stay with family or friends. Pros: Inexpensive for that type of campground. Some sites are huge, friendly ownership. Cons: trails were muddy, thanks to the heavy rain that came down in the days prior to our arrival.

Got a site on Short notice. Beautifully kept. Very nicely priced. Super friendly. Will definitely camp again!

We just stayed 1 night , were planning on staying in Quesnel but was awful there with smoke from the mill. Stopped at a petrol station, the lady there told us to go here, saying it has a good reputation and she had met the owners, said they were Good People. Turns out this place is the perfect place to stay in a great setting. Far enough away the air is not affected by the mill. Laundry and friendly owner. They have nice gardens and are farmers as well, the farming area is well kept and nice looking, they also have goats behind an almost invisible electric fence, very beautiful the family of them. I have a long telephoto lens and got these 2 photos Think you can view them closer with permission from the office. Lots of space and good signage. Would go here first the next time that way. the only reason not 5 stars is the hwy does have a bit of noise, in summer prob not hear at all with all the trees / leaves buffering. Beautiful coniferous trees offer a great atmosphere. Good power and water hook ups, nice picnic tables and good metal fire pits. Thanks for a memorable stay

Lovely clean private campground. Hot showers and power all for $35. Pull through sites perfect for a stop over. They were a bit narrow, but we would definitely stay there again.
