This is a public page to serve the residents of Quesnel and is maintained by the City during regular office hours being 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays (except for statutory holidays).

Comments containing the following will not be permitted:

1. Comments that do not relate to the issue being addressed in a particular post.
2. Slanderous or defamatory remarks, obscene language or sexual content.
3. Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, or sexual orientation.
4. Commercial services or products promotion.
5. Political candidate promotion.
6. Promotion of illegal activity.
7. Information that may compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems.
8. Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party.
9. Personal information such as telephone numbers, addresses or e-mail addresses.

The City reserves the right to:

1. Remove these above items from the City’s Social Media channels. Any content removed based upon the above must be retained, with the time, date and identity of the poster noted (if available).
2. Disallow those posting, any of the above, from contributing in the future (where that technical ability exists).

Direct responses from the Mayor and Councillors will not be available on this site. The Communications Department will make every attempt to respond to your enquiry and may provide you with the appropriate contact information.
