I went to emergency on 29 April between 3-4:30 pm. The nurse in emergency asked me to go to the main entrance’s registration desk to get the paperwork. At the desk, I was first in line still I was waiting for the lady to call me cause she seemed busy working on the computer. After couple of minutes, she said “Am I your assistant, do you want me to bring the computer to you to do your paperwork?” I was so stunned by her statement. I was being polite and waited for her to call me and the reply from her was so rude. She was a white lady with glasses and had blonde or grey hair. Imagine yourself in restless pain and you decide to go to the hospital and the worker at the registration counter speaks to you like this.nnIf the management is seeing this review, that should definitely track down that employee and do the necessary action against it.nnBeing an immigrant, I find this extremely discriminatory and racist.

I went in yesterday for my mental health and it was such a de-humanizing, nearly 8 hour wait, and I had to leave because it was 1am and I was at the very bottom of the list. They switched staff halfway through my wait, and when they did a roll call, my name wasn't even in the pile. Out of the whole room, only my name was not there. Unless you are currently suicidal and or self-harming, there is no reason to go in for mental illness as you won't be taken seriously.

Nobody in the ER gives a crap about you! 6-8 hour wait to even see a doctor! Their assessing and prioritizing is a joke.

Absolutely, 100% DO NOT CALL this hospital. The only time you talk to a human is switchboard and if you aren't a ray of sunshine they talk to you like you are GARBAGE.
