Cameron Clinic

We have been patients at this Clinic since it opened & of Dr. F. van der Merve since 2005. We can't think of how we could expect better treatment than we have always received from both our Doctor and her staff.

I am always very satisfied with the way I am treated by everyone at Cameron clinic. I appreciate my doctor's professionalism and caring attitude. All the staff at the clinic do the best they can to accommodate patients needs as much as possible.

The lady doctor is very unprofessional and rude. She even doesn't know how to behave with patient. Other than that everything is okay. Dr Kriek is very nice and kind person. Front desk people also okay. Yes, I recommend this clinic. The reason put one star was that lady doctor behaviour.

If you miss one appointment regardless of the reason you will never be seen by this Dr. again in the future regardless of how long you have been a patient. That's their stated policy without exception. Who does that? Certainly for Williams Lake residents it is unjust to seniors, seriously ill or clients unable to call . This business model is a visible failure to demonstrate caring, respectful, individual care which includes listening. Even when payment as compensation was offered for the missed appointment, the physician refused services to the patient. I believe this denial of care contravenes what the College of Physicians would recommend or support as reasonable. Perhaps they should be informed to look into their policies. As a retired critical care nurse, I would encourage anyone refused care to put a complaint in writing to the BC Medical Association disciplinary department requesting a formal review and opinion on negligence and denial of medical care. Physician legal and financial liabilities to the patient, tend to quickly change attitudes and uncaring policies that may cause harm to the public.

Terrible bedside manner. Awful cancellation policy! Miss your appointment lose your doctor?? Talk about uncompromising and unreasonable! No exceptions even for circumstances beyond your control! Unbelievable.

There are far better clinics in Williams lake that have patient intake. I would avoid this one all around. Yorston is taking patients and has far better customer service. Sad all around here. So unprofessional.

Dr. Kriek is a very professional, caring and compassionate Doctor, that genuinely cares about his patients well being.
