Founded by Denys Kouhi in March 2017, the Caribe Spa is a brand new spa now open in Port Elgin, ON that specializes in resort spa experiences. Growing up in the Dominican Republic, Denys found true love in beauty and massage, and dreamed of opening her own spa. She worked at the Majestic Punta Cana Resort as an in-house masseuse for eight years, while attending the Universidad Federico Henriquez Y Carvajal for massage therapy.
Upon getting married and moving to Canada, that dream could become a reality. Denys didn't want to leave her heritage behind, and realized that there were no spas offering an escape from the cold Canadian weather. That is how the Caribe Spa was born.
