Caribbean Medical University

I graduated from Caribbean Medical University in 2020 and I feel that it gave me the opportunity I was looking for to practice medicine in America. It had an affordable tuition and also gave me the opportunity to do all my clinical rotations in Atlanta, GA. If you are a student with drive and motivation to accomplish your goals, then CMU is the right place for you!

As a transfer student into CMU I have had such an amazing experience. The staff is extremely supportive and the Deans truly want to see their students successful at becoming physicians. I highly recommend CMU to anyone considering medical school in the Caribbean. They have great clinical sites and everyone works endlessly to ensure successful passing of the USMLE exams. Through patience and dedication I was able to complete my medical journey with CMU and am forever grateful for all of their support!

Caribbean Medical University is located on a beautiful island of Curacao! I love the location of the school and the student dormitory/hotel is next to the school building which is very convenient for many. The beautiful beaches are just next door to the institutions. Whenever you need to refresh your mind and spirit, you can go feeling nature right away by jumping to the beautiful ocean. In terms of CMU, there are many things that they need to improve yet I can see their efforts toward their goals, which are providing students opportunities and experiences to succeed their/our medical careers as MDs. Currently, I am in the clinical rotation in the US and am enjoying every single rotations that they have provided for me. Hope that school will continually grow and improve! Wishing that this school is gonna be one of the top medical schools in the Caribbean countries. Blessings

CMU is far from perfect, but they show the desire to continue improving. They are willing to help students out when they face financial difficulties, which probably makes them different from other medical schools in the Caribbean. Clinical rotations have been a great experience so far. The various doctors that I have had the opportunity to work with have, for the most part, been great.

Words can't describe how grateful I am to be attending such a wonderful medical university !! The curriculum all the way from the basic sciences to clinical sciences has been nothing short of excellence thanks to our beloved CEO, Dean, faculty, and staff. Once again, I would like to give a special thanks to the CEO Mr. Radek, Dean Dr. Malecki, and Dr. Ashvinder along with the faculty and staff for providing us students with such an enriching medical education experience. Everything is so organized all the way from academics to finance to student services. There is always someone available to take your call, respond to email, and chat online with an online representative. I was so shocked by the speed at which I get my responses to all my queries in such a timely manner. I feel like I have my own personal assistant taking care of all my medical education needs and formalities. Thanks once again, CMU, for providing me with an awesome platform on which I can jumpstart my medical career from.

CMU is a great University for pursuing your medical degree. I was a transfer student and CMU made my transition very smooth. They guided me well through the entire program. I did all of my core and elective rotations in Houston and it was an amazing experience. The preceptors were very helpful and guided me through the residency applications as well. In addition, the tuition fees for CMU is quite affordable compared to other Caribbean medical schools. They offer loans for American and Canadian students. Furthermore, CMU offers scholarships for both USMLE step 1 and step 2CK. I definitely recommend this school for other students. I am looking forward to the graduation.

With its affordable tuition, supportive staff, administration, and with lots of options when it comes to clinical rotations, future students should consider CMU to achieve their dreams of getting that MD. I met wonderful doctors and preceptors during clinical rotations in Chicago and Houston under CMU and each one really cared about giving their students proper training and education. CMU's current administrative staff and Deans have been very supportive and helpful, especially during the beginning of the COVID pandemic.

The Caribbean Medical University CMU provides a congenial atmosphere for prospective students to excel in their academic work on the Island of Curacao in the Caribbean. CMU professors work closely with students to enhance their academic success in medical education. The supporting staff on the campus are very professional and friendly. What is particularly reassuring is the low tuition fees compared to other medical universities in the Caribbean.

I transferred to CMU from another medical school. I can genuinely say that CMU is one of the best medical schools that you can go to for your education. I am currently doing my Clinical Rotations in Houston, with excellent preceptors. The professors for the first two years of Basic Sciences are highly educated and are willing to spend extra time with you in order to fully understand the material. Everyone in the staff is very friendly and will help you transition smoothly to beautiful Curaçao.

Caribbean Medical University is one of the top caribbean medical schools there is. CMU provides tuition assistance to those who need it, and assistance for those students in clinical rotations as well. The faculty all are very welcoming and very understanding of any circumstance that can happen as you progress through your medical education. CMU is excelling in a positive manor and has a bright future ahead.
